Didn’t like design of the building, lots of concrete but nothing can be done about that. Rooms were clean and large. Breakfast had good selection of food. We were told that it wasn’t advisable to go outside the hotel walking, especially at night.

Always a good experience staying at the Radisson San Jose Costa Rica. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean and the atmosphere is always calm. The breakfast buffet is always yummy and we can even order a la carte. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is always nice to feel like we're in our second home when we stay here because the people make us feel like we are home.

We were here for a week before heading to Tambor for some beach time! What a convenient place to stay & the staff in all areas couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. My partner had a bit of a scare after he had eaten Tanarind sauce - nothing we had ever considered but he had a very severe allergic reaction to it! He became very unwell & hives appeared all over his arms & legs. The hotel staff were fantastic in dealing with him & the situation & in no time an ambulance appeared with a doctor who sorted him with an antihistamine injection! We can’t thank them enough as he recovered well within a couple of hours. Thank you Radisson for all your help.

The hotel is old but the service and food are great. Very clean. I must say that in the dining area Mayra and Humberto treat us like family and they were great. As a business owner, that is the kind of employees that I appreciate.

Worst customer service ever! Very agressive & incompetent staff at reception. From far the worst Radisson Hotel I ever stayed at... Doesn't deserve its 5 stars at all. The hotel doesn't look like the photos displayed at all, it is an old dated gigantic hotel complex, everything is old... Needs a good refresh... it might have been glorious 2 decades ago, but its not the case anymore! Room was extremely smelly, terrible smell of mold and humidity. The carpet floor holds decades of stains, it was gross. Crazy & non sense policies, they refused access to coworkers & clients of mine that simply came collecting datas to my room. Even though I paid (by booking mistake for 2 pax & was alone) Never I have paid extra on top of extra for simple visitors that stay less than 15 min! This is just a pure scam, and you should be ashamed of it. They were not here to sleep in the hotel, simply attending work meeting, transferring data that require lots of computers & photo equipments that cannot be carried around the hotel... Screaming aggressively & chasing after one of my coworker down the reception hall is not only outrageous & ridiculous it is very unprofessional! Never ever in my life have I seen someone getting denied entry to the room that I pay for. If you do not wish to work in hospitality, well find another job or go back to training! And deactivating the room card simply as a "payback" to force your customer to cross all over again the gigantic complex to come back to reception is not only childish, it also shows that you have O respect at all for your clients.- Untrained staff, cleaning lady entered the room without knocking & woke me up even thought a Sign "Do Not Disturb" was hanging by the door... Poor breakfast, lots of frozen food... not even a real fresh fruit juice... not what you'd expect in a 5* hotel at all.…

This property is near the university, but seems like it is remote with large pool, hot tub, and garden area with multiple paths and outdoor dining for breakfast. The squirrels and birds at breakfast are a delight. This is an older hotel with some rooms that show their age, but certainly with all conveniences. It is popular with tour groups.

Pretty near to the airport, great Costa Rican breakfast, clean, quiet and comfortable. Reasonably priced, other than that the shuttle to the airport was a bit pricey. I will stay here again on my next trip.

It was such a terrible experience. Hotel is not even a 4 star. Its interior is very depressing, the room was smelly and there was no light. Super old and even part of the room was in cement and not painted!!! The sheets were old and so were the towels. The shower is super old and rusty. Had a horrible experience! I checked out the day after as I could not bare it. It is nothing like the pictures advertised. Staff are very nice, helpful and friendly though. Hilton Gran hotel is beautiful, super clean, in a central place and rooms are new! go there instead!!

Great memories again for my Wife and I at the Radisson San Jose where we married in Nov 2021. We really enjoyed the Staff, food entertainment and jacuzzi. So many good memories resurfaced on this trip. For sure we will be back.

I won't ever stay at this hotel Radisson Costa Rica, honestly the room are terrible. The noise is unbearable and my check-in was bad specially arriving at 2am. Despite the clerk who was attentive, this is not acceptable.
