Stayed three nights at this hotel and it was ideal for overcoming our jet lag and exploring the city. We arrived late at night and the check in was straight forward and friendly. Our room was big and well furnished with AC. The breakfast is excellent with a great choice of fresh local options and some standard international products. The...

Rooms were clean, beds nice, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were also very clean. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms don't have an exciting view but it is not a major issue. We had to come back to San jose several times and from the first visit we decided to stay here every time. The hotel is located in the...

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful, especially Jonathan at the front desk. He was always pleasant, even when he was busy. He is very knowledgeable about the area, the tours available, and always had a driver waiting when we wanted one. He went above and beyond at one point. Our A/C in our room...

Love this hotel. Its walkable to lots of cultural spots of downtown San Jose, close to the central market and supermarkets and cute little restaurants. The staff is very friendly and everything is clean. The included breakfast covered just about anything you could want mixing some local stuff with things visitors will enjoy. Homemade tortillas, YUM. Lots of fruit. Room...

While it isn't the cheapest option in the area, the value is excellent. The rooms are very large, and very clean, the wifi is good and the staff is quite helpful. The location is as good as it gets in San Jose. The breakfast was good. Definitely recommend.

I have never written a report before but was very impressed with responsiveness of hotel staff. They went out of their way to help even with tasks not normally within their duties - even helping with cell phones. Attractive and nice location in the heart of a pedestrian street in downtown San Jose. Great comfy bed clothes! Awesome all the...

The hotel is centrally located, an ideal exploration base for San Jose and easy to reach from the airport (I took the bus from SJO for 500 colones) and the many downtown bus stations. The staff were all extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. The hotel is bright and clean (I should note I only saw the reception and 5th floor)....

This was the first hotel my friend and i stayed. It is located in the plaza of San Jose, in the middle of everything. Since there's not much to do in the actual city, staying here allowed us to walk to all the important points in the city such as the church, the theater, the markets, museum, bars, etc. Also...

As all the other reviews have said, this is an excellent choice for a stay in San Jose. I think if I were ever to go back to San Jose, I would definitely choose this hotel for the following reasons: -room and bathroom are a nice size and very clean -staff speaks English well -extremely well located -excellent breakfast buffet...

We chose to stay at this hotel as a finish to a 12 day vacation in CR. We checked in and spent our last day touring the city's museums and historical sites. The hotel accommodations were very comfortable and felt newly renovated. There was a slight musty odor as you first enter the room but the smell went away after...
