Only here for one night but the welcome was good although we didn't get offered a cocktail. The building is beautiful, the room we had was comfortable and clean and the shower excellent. Breakfast was good and the people were very helpful offering to ring up...More

We only had one night at the Don Carlos before flying out early the next morning but even in a short time there were quite a lot of pluses. The welcome cocktail, free national calls and one free short international call being a good start....More

We stayed 3 days here on a recent trip. Basic but perfectly adequate rooms in a hotel with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent staff. Breakfast included and the restaurant served good lunch and dinner items. Good location to explore San Jose, walking distance to museums...More

I don't know if it is available for the dates you need, but I had room #6 when I was there. It has two large beds. I believe that it came to $71 US taxes in per night. Great room, very clean.
