We stayed here on our way to La Fortuna. Arrived too late to travel the windy road to the Arenal Volcano area. Took advantage of the free shuttle from the airport and what a great experience that was. Interbus was the shuttle company and they found us when we were a little disoriented coming out of the terminal. Called out...

Very kind review, once again a guest doesn't realize all we have within walking distance, and I'm thinking our front desk staff needs to bring it to their attention more, beyond the trees past the duck ponds are a small then large shopping mall with banks, drug stores and a Cineplex, three big chain hotels with casinos, a bowling alley,...

This was a great stay. The amenities including a full breakfast with bacon, eggs and home fries, fresh, exotic fruits and amazing fruit juice, airport transfer, free wifi and international calling were worth every cent. The maid service was above and beyond. The property well maintained and clean. Very soft sheets and reasonably comfortable bed (I am picky). The bus...

We were late for our flight, so had to camp somethere came across this place on booking.com, called them they gave me instructions on how to get to a free shuttle. Paid with cash, so get 10 percent off. Had an awesome breakfast, it included choice of eggs whichever style or pancakes all included. Even used hot tub. Very clean...

After over a week of rain with the sun coming out on our way back to the airport, Adventure Inn was a perfect last night stay. We have stayed here once before and gave it a 2nd chance. The restaurant and bar on-site are a plus. All staff are friendly as can be. I had lugged a 35 lb bag...

This is one place we stayed that we would like to rate as good but not quite good enough to qualify for very good. Unfortunately trip advisor doesn't have an in-between average and very good. The included transfer from the airport was great and saved any messing around once we arrived. All of the staff were very helpful, the food...

Some people, without exploring a bit, think there is nothing to do in our area. In reality after the entertaining duck ponds are a small upscale mall with a nice convenience store, a chocolate specialty store, several international restaurants, there's Costa Rica's largest souvenir store, six bars in the area lead by the Hard Rock Cafe, two casinos, a new...

We stayed here after a long day of travel, landing at San Jose. The free shuttle is great to the hotel, though we had a hard time finding it (it was in the parking garage). The room slept the 5 of us comfortably since it had 3 beds - one of the reasons I booked the room. It was a...

Actually you meet your shuttle after an international flight by going to the Interbus office in the Baggage Claims Area. These people must have made their room reservation after they landed and were outside, so we directed them to find Interbus for their free shuttle to Adventure Inn, why complain? Perhaps they are used to staying at a chain hotel...

I just can't say enough good things about The Adventure Inn. The staff in every area from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. The free breakfast is wonderful and you get your choice to pick from on their menu. The rooms are large and spacious and have all the amenities you...

We couldn't get to our original hotel due to a hurricane, so our original hotel worked out a deal with Adventure Inn to let us stay there instead for 2 days instead. And Adventure Inn ended up being better than our original hotel! The staff were all so friendly, the breakfast's were included and they were DELICIOUS; they included a...

We have a great central Costa Rican location with most of the biggest and best tours leaving Adventure Inn every day, the hotel and rooms are nice, our breakfast is an education, we offer every service imaginable to make us your one stop shop before heading to either coast or the mountains and volcanoes, but by the reviews, and in...

We very much enjoyed our stay at the inn. The whole experience was wonderful from booking to check out. The owner is very helpful during the booking process and even had suggestions on activities plus trips that he can set up for you. He was great at answering all my questions as this was our 1st trip to CR. They...

Hurricane Otto, the first hurricane to hit Costa Rica in 156 years, damaged much of northern Costa Rica because it is low lying, but up here in the Central Valley, where the mile high mountains prevented the hurricane's advance, it was dead calm and just a bit drizzly. We had people coming and going, domestic airports closed, tourist shuttle services...
