We booked Adventure for its proximity to the airport, but were surprised and delighted by the wonderful service we received. This hotel, run by Eric Robinson, is top notch. From check in to check out twice at the beginning and ending of our holiday, we received excellent service and everything ran smoothly. Our driver Gerardo kept us safe on the...

You are very welcome and thank you for the kind words, there are lots of hotels in San Jose but I honestly don't know of one that tries so hard to make your vacation seamless by organizing free airport shuttles, low cast car rentals, amazing tours and transfers to and from Anywhere in Costa Rica. My front desk people are...

We needed a place to stay in San Jose the night we arrived and then again the night before we left to fly home, and I happened to stumble upon the Adventure Inn, and am I ever glad I did. The second we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the place was decorated floor to ceiling in...

Thank you, very kind, people tell us when you enter Adventure Inn you know you are in Costa Rica; happy welcoming faces, warm jungle atmosphere, no two rooms the same, something quite different from the cloned chain hotel experience. You are on your vacation, take a chance on us, they say a change is as good as a rest!

We stayed at Adventure Inn for one night on our way to Oso. Very clean and friendly older hotel in quiet neighborhood near the airport and walking distance to restaurants. They have their own restaurant - our breakfast next morning was wonderful!

Thank you, we have one friendly hard working maid for every six rooms so we had better be clean! Adventure Inn is more middle aged than old, it was built in different stages averaging around 2001, perhaps all the stonework, art, statues and mature plants make it look more established than it really is, We have a great gardener and...

We found Adventure Inn randomly on a hotel routing site, & although it was a little further from the airport than we preferred, we saw that they had a free shuttle service so we took the plunge. I can't say enough about how friendly all the staff was, from the door man to the front desk attendant. This was a...

Thank you, we have free airport transfers both ways 24 hours a day. We are a convenient twelve minutes from both the airport and central San Jose, so you aren't at the end of a runway woken up by the noise and the room shaking every time a plane takes off, like most airport hotels here in Costa Rica.

The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were soft and comfy, I especially loved the quilt on the bed, that made it feel like home. Staff at reception were great, especially loved the very smiley staff member who shows you to your room! Food at the Moon Glow restaurant was good and prices were fair. The free...

Thank you, that's funny how you interpreted it, I have a little plaque in each room with words taken from some of the eco-tourism gurus that says, in part, if you want and expect all the comforts of home ask yourself why you are travelling, not quite as blunt as 'go home!' Unlike anyone else, Adventure Inn is constantly doing...

This was a great place to begin our trip to Costa Rica. We were picked up at the airport and were able to rest in a nice hotel that was air conditioned. My husband was not feeling good so he was able to get some sleep for 2 nights before we really started our trip. The staff was more than...

We have one staff member for each of our 34 rooms, so you are always looked after, chain hotels are about three rooms per staff member.

Clean, spacious, extremely helpful staff!! This was our first and last airport stop in Costa Rica. The rooms were very clean and so was the pool. Staff prepared a nice "to go" breakfast as we were leaving on the 5:30 am shuttle to the airport. Eric Robinson is an extraordinary owner because he takes great care for his patrons. He...

My staff are different, they actually read everyone's comments on TripAdvisor and understand the importance of your vacation to you. We're not perfect, but it isn't for a lack of trying!

I had to stay an extra night due to being detained at the airport and missing my flight, Eric spoke to me on the phone and had me at the inn in less than 20 minutes free of charge. Maybe I was at the right place at the right time, regardless, the experience was warm and refreshing after a long...

Our free airport transfers leave every twenty minutes from the airport, and we are only about twelve minutes away, it's not always perfect but generally it is a fairly easy smooth experience, and being on the same side as the airport of the Platina Bridge which is under heavy construction until May, there are no 45 minute line ups to...

I stayed at the Adventure Inn for two nights at the beginning of my vacation in Costa Rica and one night in the end. This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. I think single ladies feel safe and protected at Adventure Inn, not just the hotel but the area nearby. I enjoyed years compiling my website safe.travel check it out for hundreds of travel tips especially in the Third World and there's even a whole chapter dedicated just to single women travellers. Some ideas may just save your life.
