Stayed here for 2 nights at tour start and 1 night at tour end.
Very central location but suffered as a result of traffic grid lock conditions when travelling to and from various trips.
Good, clean, spacious rooms with bath.
Very noisy (but effective) air conditioning.
Basic buffet style breakfast.
Dining room accessed across car park and forms an area in the hotel owned casino.
Free tea and coffee available throughout the daytime.
Able to top up water bottles as needed through the day.
Approx 30 minutes from airport ( if traffic is kind)
Date of stay: October 2018

I stayed here for 2 nights on landing in Costa Rica, and then 1 night prior to my flight home.
It was certainly a welcome treat for my last night in CR, as the hotel has a laundry room you can use with a washer and dryer - something I really needed after 2 weeks of travelling around the country.
Breakfast is great- a mix of continental/American with traditional Costa Rican food all part of a buffet style breakfast. Staff were friendly once you get talking to them behind the desk, but they weren’t immediately pleased to see anybody when they arrived through the doors it felt like.
Really good security throughout, with people manning the car park gate and a great guy stood outside the main entrance at all times.
Rooms were spacious and very clean, and everything was available including the little things like a spare toothbrush and some shaving gel if you’d run out.
I ordered room service on the first night which was a delight. Great food at the restaurant within the complex, and great prices.
Would definitely stay here again! Recommend :)

At my arrival i was impressed by the miss of smile from the girls at reception, i felt not really welcome. The room was good and spacious with all the bath facilities. The room service really poor, to order i repeat several times my order (is not a big problem) but when my order arrived 30min later, it wasn't what i order. The room service staff was really rude. Need to improve the staff training.
Thank that the hotel is beautiful with good facilities as the gym, casino and some restaurants and shops near by and not far from the airport.

We checked in for a couple nights when arriving into San Jose. It is very conveniently located to museums, theatre, and a pedestrian street filled with restaurants and shops. My daughter was meeting up with Costa Rica Language Academy and that is only about a 10min drive so it seems to be a centrally located hotel. There is a great restauant/casino adjacent and the staff go above and beyond to be helpful. Add in a morning complimentary continental breakfast to help get the day started makes this hotel price, location and convenience one that’s hard to beat.

Well the Hotel is a great place to stay, if you like being in the middle of activities it is the place to reserve rooms. By American standards the nightly rates are fair.
