Wonderful accommodations, simple but clean. Great kayaking and snorkeling right outside your door. Not much else to do on the island so better enjoy these activities. Island about a mile no real restaurants so dining is limited to lodge

Simple cabanas overlooking the sea. Although there is no hot water for showers, your stay will be well worth it. The food is excellent-probably the best we had in Belize. Fresh seafood and homemade breads. Might be a little isolated if you don't have some activity planned. You can snorkel right off the island or bring a kayak or paddleboard...

We couldn't get into Paradise our first two nights on Tobacco Caye, which is one reason I'm slightly reluctant to confirm how good it is! But having stayed at another lodge on the island, it brought home to us how great Paradise is. The cabins may be simple but they've got everything you need in them, bed is comfortable, place...

Tobacco Caye Paradise is truly a special place located on a tiny island just inside the barrier reef. It was wonderful to hear the crashing waves and view the amazing sunrises off the large dock. Our cabana was spotless and had a very comfortable bed but the best part was definitely the spacious deck over the water. The grounds were...

This a piece of paradise in Belize. Doreen is the manager and she is very quick and efficient with answering questions or organizing any thing you need. Lor + Brenadeth made some of the best meals I had in Belize. Everything was fresh and healthy. The accommodations where all equaly nice and very clean thanks to Philipa the house keeper....

We loved our stay on the island and enjoyed the overwater cabanas! Super relaxing and beautiful. Very nice accommodation and would come back anytime! Friendly and helpful staff. The only thing is that the strict mealtimes leave now room for flexibility (8am breakfast, 12pm lunch and 6pm dinner) ..we worried making sure we arrived on time after missing a breakfast...

Thank you very much for your review and your comments. We will ensure to let our staff know to explain the meal hours. They usually start their meals, and save any plates/dishes for any guest that is late. We know what it is like to go snorkeling and lose track of time! Please know that we have several picnic tables...

This very small resort is so cute with little cabins right out over the water where we saw lots of fish and many rays, restful, relaxing, the nicest staff and boy can the ladies in the kitchen cook. The only thing I would complain about is that I do not like cold showers. Would highly recommend this resort. We took...

Thank you very much for your review and such wonderful comments. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and your snorkel trip with Nolan! Unfortunately do not have water heating system. We rely on solar power, and sadly those systems require too much electricity. However, if you try the showers in the afternoon: water tanks warm up...

Tobacco Caye Paradise is a slice of paradise situated off the barrier reef in the Belize Cayes. The staff was very attentive and friendly. TCP is an eco-hotel which utilizes rainwater for showers and toilets and solar for power (backup is generator). This helps them leave a small environmental impact, which helps keep this area (part of a marine reserve)...

I booked a cabana for a week and it was the best decision I've ever made. I traveled solo but I was never alone unless I wanted to be. The people are friendly, the staff is like family, the food is excellent, fantastic snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, and it couldn't be a prettier place to visit. There was always something to...

This is beautiful location just a short boat ride from Dangriga. The cabins are cozy and clean. It is apparent that the management takes great pride in providing a restive atmosphere. Doreen, the onsite manager, was especially friendly and helpful.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tobacco Caye Paradise Cabins is a small Belizean-own lodge with six private "over the water" beach cabanas. All cabanas face north to the Belize Barrier Reef and have wonderful decks perched over turquoise tropical waters. Each deck has a hammock and an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea. Accommodations are clean, comfortable and charmingly rustic. There are five 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cabanas, and one 2 bedroom/1 bathroom cabana. Each of the cabins have private bathrooms and rainwater-fed showers. While there is no electric or water utilities on the island, however, we collect our own rainwater and generate our own electricity from solar and generator (when necessary) power. We have wi-fi access on the island, as well. Delicious meals are available in the dining hall, where you can dine with fellow travelers and share the day's adventures. ... more   less
