The family owned Fare Aute has several simple and traditional Tahitian bungalows in the town of Haapiti. There are about six one and two-story beach front and garden view bungalow units to choose from. The interior and exterior part of the bungalows were kept clean. There is a kitchen on the ground floor area to cook your meals. Pots, pan,...

My and my friend lived in Fare Aute from 3th July, It is very nice, people in there are very friendly. The supermarket is little bit far away from Fare Aute, but they drive us to the supermarket. And you could also cook by yourself. We are really enjoy it!

The most outstanding part of our time at Fare Aute was Elodie. There are no shops nearby and Elodie offered to take us to the local supermarket (about 3km away) and wait while we did our shopping and then drive us back. This service made such a difference as taxis are expensive and buses unreliable. Elodie also organised a meal...

Fare Aute is owned by a couple, not by an international chain, and the service is friendly. The bungalow we had was just behind the fence on the left, there were two similar ones. In front of us was a larger holiday house that is ideal for families with kids. There we saw a family of grandparents and parents with...

We stayed a week in Fare Aute (bungalow Haari) in November 2014 and we had a wonderful time. Elodie picked us up on the airport, was very helpful and informative and helped us to get in contact with the correct people to hire scooters, book excursions, etc. She also brought fresh fruit and coconut cake, which was delicious. The bungalow...

Elodie, the owner, did anything in her control & knowledge to assist that our stay will be enjoyable. We had a sea front bungalow. While the location was great...the hardware, bathroom...and the internal came to the age which some small investment can really makes the difference. Fare Aute is substantially far from all the tourist attraction. If you plan to...

If you read Hobnob_hobo's review of this B&B, you have all of the salient points of our stay (I'm her "twitchy" partner). The drinking-water situation was not intolerable, but as she mentioned, I was a bit put off by the combination of no A/C and no in-room safe - there was no way to secure valuables while we were out...

We stayed at the beach bungalow. I loved it beyond words. My partner didn't love it as much and I'll tell you why, below. First things first: the snorkeling here is UNBELIEVABLE. You just have to get past the shallows -- and its a little tricky with the coral heads in the shallows. Stand up and look you see a...

This place is for the people who want to stay on a calm spot on Moorea away from the more touristic places. The Lagune is right in front of you with hardly no people around you. We stayed 5 people in the Fare Miti beach villa. Plenty of room, a little lawn and a nice little sandy beach, very private....

We were a couple staying in the beach bungalow (Miro). This was an excellent location, very private, with beautiful view of the lagoon, ocean and the sky. Especially, the sunrise seen from the kayak in the lagoon was amazing. Elodie (the owner) was very friendly and extremely helpful. Free transports to and from the ferry terminal, booking of various activities...
