Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amuri Sands. Gorgeous views from the deck and very very peaceful environment. The cottage/cabin has every thing you need, comfy bed, good shower with hot water, well organised kitchen, fan and spotlessly clean. The grounds and gardens are lovely and Mark keeps everything tidy (picking up palm fronds & coconuts etc.). Mark was a fantastic...

The unit (and the one next door) has fantastic views through the palm trees to the white sandy beach and the glorious stretch of water to the reef, wonderful turquoise colour. The unit has everything you would need to cook and well stocked with crockery/cutlery etc. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. There is a fan...

What a lovely place to stay. Clean, great location. Owner Mark is great. Very helpful. The fresh fruit there was great. Good value for money. Would differently stay there again. Saw the whales a lot from of the deck, Puffys fish and chips were yum as and very close to walk to. Thanks Mark.

Stayed here a while ago but forgot to write a review. Money value this place can not be beaten. It was incredible, the photos don't do it justice mainly because Mark the owner makes it. Bringing fresh fruit, fantastic advice and helping with bookings. My camera stuffed up there and a mate of his lent me his camera... a good...

The owner Mark, put so much effort into making our stay stress free, from picking us up at the airport, arranging scooter hire, giving daily weather and tide reports, ringing to book us in for a snorkelling trip. The accommodation was just what we wanted, right on Amuri Beach and 200 metres from the deep, swimming hole, clean and roomy and...

Amuri Sands is an excellent place to stay in Atutaki. It is on the beach, which is great for swimming and snorkelling. Mark, our host, was most helpful. He picked us up from the airport, organised scooter hire and lagoon cruises. The room had a queen bed, cooking facilities, fridge and shower. It was clean and roomy. It is good...

Thanks Mark for making our stay such a pleasure. The best sunsets from the deck! Good clean accomodation and Mark will go out of his way to organise car rentals, boat hire and restaurant advice. You were right Mark, Puffys has the best fish n chips! Black Pearl charters were terrific but book early. They are very popular. Do yourself a...

Nothing to say except all around amazing deal we got. Extremely good price, great location, Mark was a legend, and the unit was everything you needed. The gardens outside were immaculate, you feel very isolated with dense bush on both sides. I actually would rather keep this place a secret for myself! No TV (why would you need it here)...

We had the best of times at Amuri Sands. Mark and Poppy are super friendly and let us know all we needed about the island. We stayed during Christmas, and it was just perfect for us. This little gem is just like in the pictures, only the garden is more lush with flowers and bushes. I picked passion fruit of...

First off, Aitutaki is, in our opinion, a must-do option if you happen to be in the Cook Islands. Absolutely beautiful. Peaceful. The options are expensive (700+/nt; includes air con, paddle-boards/kayaks, snorkel gear, limited wifi, better-appointed rooms) and then budget (150ish). Amuri Sands falls in the latter category, and does a perfect job of it. The place is clean, works...
