We spent 19 delightful nights at Castaway. The hosts Michelle and Paul are the greatest, they are helpful, accommodating, and very interesting. The included breakfasts were good but could possibly include a bit more protein foods. The Beach Front studio suite are a bit tried and could do with updating, but then, what does it matter you have the beach...

Just got home after 2 wonderful weeks in Rarotonga. The resort/villa is such a quaint boutique hotel that makes you feel like you are visiting family and not on vacation. When we arrived we were very surprised and satisfied with our accommodations and Michelle greeted us so warmly that we knew from the moment that we got there we were...

Castaway was the perfect place to truly unwind and relax. The staff and management were extremely friendly and professional. The resort had kayaks and snorkeling gear for the guests to use which is perfect considering the island is surrounded by a reef. I would absolutely come back here and suggest this place to friends.

My two friends and I spent a week at Castaway and we really enjoyed our stay. Michelle and Paul were very helpful when we wanted to hire motor bikes and book island tours. The beach bar was awesome and everyone was very welcoming and to top off our boys trip they had authentic Cuban cigars. The food at the beach...

We only stayed one night in Rarotonga but went around the whole Island which doesn't take long. We stayed in the suite which is a spacious apartment on top of the reception. There are windows towards both the island and the sea. The standard isn't the most modern but it's clean and very good value for the money! The bungalows...

Kia Orana everyone. 2.5 years on and the place is as quiet and unfazed as ever. Michelle and Paul were their usual selves, happy and attuned to your every need. On our first visit in 2013,we had 2 families and 2, 21sts to celebrate. This was done in style with thoughtful and meaningful commitment from our hosts Paul, Michelle and...

We only fortunately stayed here one night as was going onto other accommodation. The day we arrived was a public holiday (not informed before hand even though we booked direct with resort) and we arrived to a notice stuck up on a pin board at front entrance stating our name and what unit we were in. We had specifically booked...

I am not good with the clinical type feel / atmosphere of a lot of 'spa type' establishments. They feel a bit fake and you could be anywhere really. Not at Castaway! Paul & Michelle and their staff are excellent hosts, will do anything to help and you quickly become part of the family. The place has everything you need...
