We didn't stay at the Lodge but since there aren't other options for eating at Lake Louise, Alaska we went to the Lodge for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised ... the service was friendly and the food better than we had expected (cheeseburger for one of us; steak and blue cheese salad for the other).

My niece and I stayed two nights, taking a break from highway travel around Interior Alaska. Lake Louise Lodge was just what we needed! Wonderful views of the lake, comfortable bed, good food and an interesting look at family life in caribou country. Nice to get away from Alaska's "big" towns.

This lodge will be the one with most scenic views we have ever stayed. The lodge was right on the lake and they have blissful views of the lake; especially the sunset there was a treat to watch. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and comfortable. They have a complimentary breakfast too and...

Great place to relax! We had made reservations at another hotel that turned out to be "not as described" earlier in the week and ended up changing our itinerary "on the fly." So on our drive back to Anchorage from Fairbanks we enjoyed a gorgeous day on the exceptionally scenic Richardson Highway. We didn't want to drive the entire way...

Thank you for your feedback and we want to extend our apologies to the "local" cabin owner who displayed inappropriate language in our family ran business. We strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere and we do not support this in our establishment. We took the opportunity to talk to him that evening about his poor language and advised it is...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this beautifully situated lodge about 3 hours from Anchorage. The Glenn Highway is a very scenic and worthwhile drive. Our room was average size but very clean and comfortable with a nice veranda and fantastic view of the lake. Breakfast was included and was tasty, hot and with good choices. The blackout shades...

The summer time drive into Lake Louise was similar to a roller coaster - if you get car sick this one is going to require dramamine. We were told that in the winter this road is great as the snow fills in all the dips and it's an easy flat drive! We arrived to Glenallen and we were told that...

John and Yvette were wonderful hosts and very accommodating. Because of plane delays we arrived at 3:30 AM instead of at 2:30 PM the previous afternoon. They were so gracious and said our rooms would be ready with the lights on. Sleep as long as we wanted and then they would have breakfast ready. We could wait and check out...

Due to a forest fire in Willow, we couldn't get to Denali. 2nd choice was Valdez. En route to Valvez we booked 2 rooms at Lake Louise Lodge just outside Glenallen. Couldn't have been luckier! 5 comfortable room lodge, our family booked Rms 3 & 4. Both had amazing balcony lake views with rocking chairs to enhance the peaceful experience....

Clean comfortable rooms and amazing views over Lake Louise make this lodge a lovely place to stay. Hosts are friendly and the bar and dining room decorated with interesting local items. Very pleasant and a world away from the normal hotels we have stayed at. No tv in the rooms but with views like this who cares. Highly recommended.

Great lodge in a secluded location.Stayed in room #3. Great view over lake and comfortable rocking chairs to enjoy it from. Road to lodge is like a roller coaster so drive slowly. Basic but adequate breakfast included. Very comfortable bed.
