This was our best stay in the Kenai Peninsula area of Alaska. Fire and Ice is a modern, fully equipped apartment in a fantastic and relaxing setting. Look out the living room window at a beautiful view of Kachamak Bay and the majestic mountains across the bay. The new owners, Ceia and Travis, are a great young couple and always...

Was looking for something that was not in town and this was the perfect place. Ceia, the owner of this place, called me when I was 2 hours away to let me know she would be going into town, as her place is a good 15 minute drive from downtown Homer. I appreciated the heads up and that gave us...

Our stay at Fire and Ice was great. The new owners, Ceia and Travis, continue to provide the great service mentioned of the previous owners. The apartment was beautiful, modern and comfortable. It provided everything needed for a wonderful stay. The location couldn't be better, and the views were awsome.

When I discovered the owners had traveled the world for 15 years on a sailboat and read the great reviews I knew we were in for a treat! The accommodations are wonderful: lovely location and views, incredible attention to detail, comfortable, inviting space with everything needed for a perfect stay-all at a surprisingly good rate! Add Judi and Bob, two...

The great location, the excellent interior of the apartment, the fantastic view and the really pleasant hosts - all this has been described before and there’s nothing to add. But what made Fire and Ice Lodging so special to us? These were the personal things - I would call it the icing on the cake. For example a fresh cut...

Private apartment in a lovely house with views of Kachemak Bay and the glaciers. Immaculate. Friendly hosts, use of outdoor barbeque, partially stocked kitchen. Tastefully decorated. The most comfortable accommodation we experienced on our two week trip. Host will do your laundry for a fee. This accommodation is about 15 minutes East of Homer, and only suitable if you have...

My 17 year old son and I spent 3 nights at Fire & Ice in mid-August. We were fishing most of the time so we were not around except in the evening and early morning. The apartment was extremely clean and had all of the things you would expect and more. There is wireless internet with a good connection speed,...

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at Fire & Ice Lodging. Judi and Bob are friendly hosts and provided lots of helpful information and brochures about Homer. The apartment is very comfortable with many amenities. It was great for a short stay but would also be perfect for a longer stay since you have a kitchen and living area. The...

We stayed at the Fire and Ice for 4 nights as part of our extended trip to Alaska. It was a great place to stay with a large bedroom, comfortable living area and a small but complete kitchen. It would probably be more accurate to describe it as a small fully furnished apartment instead of a B&B as you do...

This was a really nice place. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and updated (built in 2007-2008). It's on the ground floor, above ground, and below the home where the owners live. Great view to a distant glacier across the bay. The owners are welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. Some basic breakfast essentials (cereal; pancake mix;; coffee; jam; etc) are...
