I had a great stay in early July at the Driftwood Inn, and I was genuinely sad to leave. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. I had a great view from room 10 and I slept very well in comfy bed. Never had to wait for shared bathrooms! Added bonus: Maura's Cafe across the street served me...

Great ambiance. Clean rooms. Great View. Nothing Fancy, but lots of fun. Would come back for sure. It is within walking distance of down town. You have access to a fridge to store food or beer. The rooms are a little small, but we were really active and didn't spend much time hanging around the hotel.

Womderful view across katchmak bay and the volcanos, glaciers and mountain beyond. We stayed room 20. Lots of space and well appointed with eclectic furniture. Short walk to the beach and very nice restaurant across street.

Spent two nights here at the Inn, July 1 and 2, 2013. I like vintage and quaint. I got it. Rooms in the Inn are small but clean and quaint. Loved it. They have other larger rooms but cost was an issue for us. Staff are very helpful. I would recommend it in a heart beat.

Cute on the outside, but I was a little concerned when I walked down the narrow stairs and Hal's which looked like they were made of particle board. That said, the value was good, especially for Alaska, where hotels are by expensive. The bed was comfortable, but only a full size, and one bed in my room. The staff could...

We stayed June 25th-27th 2013 and it was just perfect. Staff were very welcoming and always willing to help. Gorgeous country room with a view of the beach from our window (we stayed in room 8 of the Driftwood Inn). Rooms were clean and tidy, serviced daily (although we chose not to) and private bathrooms a few doors down. Room...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The lot is level and the hookups are convenient. Getting into and out of the lot with your RV isn't very easy, though. The streets become narrow and the surrounding properties are pretty cluttered. Driftwood does have a nice view of the beach and mountains. Of all the RV sites we stayed in while...

We stayed at the RV park and it was nice and showers were clean. This was our second time staying there. The view is great and the sites are level but made for RV not traliers so the hookups will be on the wrong side for anything backed in.

By far one of the most beautiful views I've ever experienced. We stayed in the Bluffview lodge for 2 nights and absolutely loved the experience. We stayed on the top floor which overlooks the beach -- small patio included -- and could overlook the water and be in awe at the near 24 hour sunshine that came in June. Homer...

an economy room and to be close to the beach, and to feel safe! nice little common area with a microwave and fridge. the room was very small and vintage-y, but for what i needed (solo traveler on an adventure)--it did the trick. what more do you need besides a bathroom, a shower, a bed and a 1-minute walk to...
