We had the best time in Homer made all the more enjoyable being accommodated at Maria's delightful cosy spacious atmosphere home with awesome views of Homer Spit out to the surrounding mountains. Maria & hubby Tim are more than helpful with local knowledge & suggestions for daily adventures in Homer. A stay here includes Maria's daily delicious huge choice breakfast... More

We spent three nights at the Majestic View, with our 13-year-old grandson, and the stay was lovely. The room was large and comfortable, even with three people, and included storage space and a large easy chair. The view from our bedroom picture window was truly spectacular. Guests can also enjoy the view from the sitting room, with a fireplace and... More

We were travelling with another couple and had booked 2 nights, but loved it so much we stayed another. We stayed in Cabin A & B which were fabulous with a Majestic View over the Homer Spit and bay. Maria and her husband Tim, and Mary who cooked our breakfast for two mornings were all extremely friendly. Tim took us... More

The view from our cabin was breathtaking, very private, and the multiple moose in the backyard were amazing. Maria & Tim were the nicest hosts ever! We also did a half day boat tour with Tim which was the highlight of our 12 days in Alaska. We went back into inlets seeing bears, eagles, otters, whales, and so much that... More

Maria, Tim and their family provide an amazingly comfortable B & B with all the amenities you'd expect: lovely room, great breakfast, and a real family feel. The views from the rooms are spectacular and you can enjoy them with a great cup of coffee which Maria makes with fresh ground beans each morning. Tim is a great source of... More

Wow! That was the first word that I uttered when I walked into my cozy room. It was obvious from the start that this stay was going to be amazing, that alone comfy! The next morning, expecting a typical "lite" breakfast and mediocre coffee, I was amazed at the hot dishes of various types of breakfast standards -- but was... More

This is our THIRD stay w/Maria...that should pretty much tell you how much we value Majestic View B&B as a place to stay in Homer. We usually spend at least a week there and we have always had a great experience. The views are magnificent...even when the weather is less than helpful...because you overlook Kachemak Bay, the Homer Spit, and... More

Maybe the cabins outside of the house are better than the accommodations inside the house. Maria's words were "Don't ring the doorbell, don't lock the door, because I want to live as normal life as possible." I felt like I was staying at a distant relatives house that I was unwanted at.

Hi Nikki, I apologize if I gave you the wrong impression of our Bed and Breakfast. We do everything we can to insure that our guests enjoy a "retreat like" atmosphere when they stay with us - especially in the common areas (entryway, kitchen, living-room and main deck). We want each of our guests to feel as if they are... More

Stayed two nights in the Cottonwood Room (no view) during July 2016. Maria is a very friendly, accommodating and helpful hostess. She prepares an amazing breakfast and adjusts the timing to your needs (between 7 and 9 a.m.). The Cottonwood room was comfortable and quiet. It had a private bathroom accessed by the hallway. Good wi-fi reception. But, the most... More
