Pleasant experience overall. Started with the hotel shuttle picking me up from the airport and the driver was super friendly. Staff in the office at check in was friendly and the room was clean, and spacious. Nice location in downtown Juneau with a good restaurant next door called the Sand Pipers which offers awesome breakfast. Its a basic hotel offering...

The Driftwood is a very comfortable place to stay. Rooms are spacious and clean with a large comfy bed and huge television. The kitchen is a bonus, my wife was unwell while here so we stayed in and cooked for our three nights. An excellent supermarket is a short stroll away as is a bottle shop and the excellent Juneau...

They need to eliminate the 2 parallel parking spaces so people can not sit in there vehicle smoking with the engine running next to your room. They need to monitor after hours partying in the rooms, no noise after 11:00PM. Some people have to get up and work.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for letting us know about some of the issues you experienced during your stay with us. I always appreciate hearing from guests about areas where we could improve. I'm sorry to hear people were smoking and leaving their cars running so close to your room. That's incredibly inconsiderate and something we will have to pay...

We had very good service during check in time. Our room was clean, comfortable and on the corner. The door did not lock very well. Motel was located within walking distance of downtown. Breakfast was not included.

Thank you for letting us know about your time with us. Though we do not serve breakfast in the hotel, The Sandpiper Café is located right next door and has one of the best breakfasts in Juneau. I recommend it to anyone who is visiting Juneau. I hope you enjoyed your time in our city.

Stayed here for 1 night after a weeks hunt & found it to be just about right for our needs. We had a luggage malfunction (thanks, Alaska Airlines !) and so were given a room on the first floor. The staff cleaned it just for us (otherwise we would have gotten 2 twin beds) They also had a cooler for...

Stayed here 2 nights in a little group of 2 couples. Cons - the 2 bedroom unit consisted of 1 bedroom with twin beds, which along with the only bathroom was accessed through a semi enclosed space in which a double bed was located. Hence a little awkward with no privacy for one couple. - carpets in the living area...

Very slow check in. 20 minutes. Everyone wearing coats because cold in office. Room small, tv sucks, 20 years old. Poor color. 18" no movies Carpet stained. Big stain. Cement blocks for walls. Otherwise it seems clean. Biggest deal is 10$ taxi ride anywhere.

The Driftwood Hotel was great! Everyone was very nice & accomodating. Room was nice and clean. It's a good basic hotel for a good price in a perfect location. I'm not a high-maintenance fancy person so this hotel worked well for me. I had good sleeps and enjoyed my stay! Thank~you!!

We arrived by ferry at 2:30AM and the shuttle bus we'd arranged was there within a few minutes after our arrival. Shuttle driver was great. Room was large and comfortable, 2-bedroom with mini-kitchen. My wife is fussy about pillows and she rated them (and the bedding) as very good. From the room we had a great view of the mountain...

We actually had two stays here over the course of our vacation (split with a trip to Sitka). First stay - in Room 320 - huge room/suite. 2 nights. All was well - but the smoke alrm was connected - but hanging off the ceiling - we did report this but it being Labor Day Weekend - was not fixed...

Dear Charleygirl, Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm sorry to hear about the smoke detector. We should have been able to fix this immediately, even though it was a holiday weekend. I'm pleased to hear that the rest of your stay went well. It sounds like you stayed in one of the rooms we recently worked...
