Rooms very dirty. Blood spots on the sheets in the first room they gave me. Cash was missing from my bag on the last day of the stay. Avoid this place. This has been the worst hotel I've stayed at all year. I see why no one else was staying here.
I was charged for a room with view/balcony but was given a super tiny room without one, bathroom tub and shower had hair all over, floor was disgusting with used tissues on floor next to the bed, the lock on door was broken so couldn't even lock the door, the front desk people were extremely rude, condescending and did absolutely nothing to fix any of these issues. I was told well sorry it's what we have... if you are thinking about staying here, DON'T!
They took over and hour and a half to get us a room and then to make it better there was the previous persons hair all over the sink and shower in the bathroom 👍 NOT COOL... they also gave us a “local discount” but it was literally 1$ less then the super 8 by the mall 🙃
I booked this Inn based on the price, an airport shuttle and continental breakfast. The three reviews I read were good so I made the reservation. The initial search stated the price for one night was $111-- when I began booking I discovered the $111 price was for a non-refundable reservation. To be on the safe side, I booked the reservation that could be cancelled it said TOTAL PRICE: $139.00. The total price was actually was $157.70. It was pouring rain when we arrived and I will say that the man who picked us up at the ferry (his name was Jose) provided excellent customer service, and this review in no way reflects his service. The room reminded us of a Motel 6, but it was at least clean. I knew from the web page it would be one double bed. When my husband went to the office in the morning to to ask for a receipt for our stay and arrange a time for our shuttle back to the ferry, we were told there was no driver available for the shuttle but for $9.00 we could catch a cab. He expressed his displeasure since we were specifically told there would be a shuttle available, and that was also what the website stated. So the girl working the desk said she would pay for the cab. There was also no breakfast available, due to Covid concerns we were told. The website still said shuttle and continental breakfast, though, and we were able to get breakfast at the airport — counting the Ferry, breakfast and the hotel cost our one night layover cost about $200. So, if you are looking for an expensive Motel 6 experience, this is the place. We will also be avoiding a layover in in Ketchikan in the future.…
We found the restaurant and the bar to be the best hidden secrets in Ketchikan. The food was always great, We eat in the restaurant most every day and never had a problem with anything, the food was delicious and the service was great. In the evening we enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar/lounge. Our bartender was super friendly and shared a lot about Ketchikan and the area in general with us. The only complaint I have about the bar is thie fireplace was not on during the cold windy evenings where it would’ve been nice to sit next to sipping a glass of wine. The rooms were nothing particular but they were clean & comfortable. We had great room service whenever we needed anything My wife really enjoyed the bed and so did I. We sleep very well.
