The staff is especially friendly and helpful and the hotel provides free airport transportation. On the ground floor, however, you may experience their pet friendliness, which may not always be quiet. The staff readily moved us to a quieter portion of the hotel and refunded a portion of our costs to move to a smaller room. The hotel is convenient...

This is a place that caters to locals and sportsmen who want a clean, convenient place with useful amenities - shuttle, restaurant, lounge, laundromat, and freezer for fish and game. Centrally located in the center of Kodiak town.

I stayed at the Shelikof for a week as a base for fishing. It is an old fashioned hotel without the frills (reminds me of the 70s), but it felt comfortable to me. They serve a good breakfast and have a friendly staff. The maid service is quick and efficient. The location is within walking distance of everything in town...

The heat was stuck on high during our entire visit. If they got rid of the bedspreads the place would look a lot nicer. Our room was small but good. The hallway smells like smoke but the room didn't. The check in person was so aloof and rude, but the rest of the staff was outstanding. They were generous enough...

The lodge is one of only a few places to stay in Kodiak. It's clean, has a restaurant that makes a decent breakfast (not included in the room price) and offers a free shuttle to the airport. Front desk staff was courteous.

Me and seven of my clients just returned from Raspberry Island on a blacktail and sea duck hunt. Due to weather we over-nighted at the Shelikof Lodge where I have stayed many times in the past. George and his staff went out of their way to make sure our group was comfortable and arranged shuttle service so we could see...

I have visited Kodiak for the last 15 years to fish. Never disappointed in the fishing or the Shelikof Hotel. Great staff and the café is good. Very easy to get to and from the harbor to connect with our fishing charter. If you are looking for a five star property, stay in New York.

My son traveled to Kodiak with his high school basketball team for a tournament. The staff never skipped a beat having a hotel full of teenagers. My son left his wallet in the hotel and when he called from the airport, the front desk person ran down to his room and found it. She assured him that she would drop...

The staff at this place are extremely nice and helpful. there is food conveniently available in the hotel morning through night and there is also a bar. the rooms are nothing special but they are cleaned well and the price is right. Great for TV show crews because of the helpfulness of staff.
