The cabins are really awesome. Complementary coffee and tea in the cabin. The beds were great, haven't had such a good bed for some time. Everything very clean. Definitely worth the price. Staff could be a bit less grumpy/more friendly. About the Restaurant...: The restaurant has much potential. We had dinner and breakfast. The dinner we had was pasta with...

We were impressed with how well designed and appointed the cabins at this lodge are! Each cabin has a spacious and good-sized modern bathroom, a counter area with microwave, fridge, coffee maker and supplies; plenty of room with comfortable beds, a picnic table and seats on small deck overlooking the river and gorgeous countryside. Pricey, but truly worth it (based...

The Ravens Perch, Knik River Lodges refurbished restaurant, is a treasure. Great space (but too loud-- they'll need to figure that out soon), fantastic views, romantic ambiance, Alaska friendly/informal service, and fabulous food. Want more? Reasonably priced, especially for being out in the middle of nowhere! Our new favorite place to dine.

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for two nights in July at the end of our Alaska vacation. Great location for seeing the Independence Mine historical park and Knik Glacier Tour. We loved driving the road in and out in the morning and evening to catch the wildlife. We saw Moose and porcupines, There is also Pioneer waterfall...

After 15 years of marriage, and with two teenagers, we decided we needed a weekend to rekindle the romance. KRL was the perfect place to be alone and rediscover just the two of us. The seclusion we sought to find in each other the passion that smolders within was closer than we could have imagined. KRL is now our go...

We took a road trip in Alaska last summer and found the Knik River Lodge on our google maps of all things and I was so happy we did. We had two cabins, one for us and one for the kids and both cabins were beautiful. Simplicity...At Its Best. The cabins and bathrooms were very clean and the linens just...

This place is unbelievably great. Peters the owner is very gracious and accommodating. The views are breath taking. The individual cabin are very comfortable and roomy. There is a helicopter excursion available to go to a glacier. Other activities are available too. Highly recommend at least one night or more to stay here.

We had a very delicious dinner last night at the Restaurant. I think it might be the best food I've ever had in Matsu valley. Service was impeccable and the sunset view incredible. The Yurt was an interesting dining experience, the new building is very nice and includes the view. The restaurant is small and usually busy so be sure...

My husband and 12 year old daughter and I spent 2 days at the Knik River Lodge this week. I heard about it because of an Alaskan coupon book I bought (TourSaver) which gave us 2 nights for the price of one. From the moment I booked it, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Originally we were going to...
