This is a self guided hunting and fishing lodge. My son and I just returned from a week at the lodge. It has everything you need to be successful hunting and fishing. We went at the end of the season, the silvers were there but not really hitting. The halibut took us a little bit to figure out but again,...

We have had the honor and pleasure of being able to visit this lodge several times now. We just got back from another great year. This is a self guided lodge and we were able to collect some direction on go out on our own and reach limits each day! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather! Cabins are...

Just got back from another visit to Green Rocks Lodge. They did not disappoint. The staff (chefs and boat/tackle specialists) did a great job of looking out for the things we needed to keep our trip there safe and successful. We ate well and they took great care to prepare meals specially for my wife who eats gluten-free. I managed...

I cannot say enough about the week I just spent with Green Rocks Lodge. This was my second year, my friends' first, we had a blast and will be returning next year. I have to say that the self-guided experience is the way to go. We enjoyed the freedom of fishing when, where and what species we wanted every day....

I started coming here about four years ago. I did not know what I was doing at all. I had never been on a Charter to go fishing in Alaska either. I went up to stay with Tim (the owner) and his crew. We caught nine Halibut (chickens) the first year. We were stoked! Did more research over the next...

I just completed my second year of halibut fishing at Green Rocks Lodge. The only word to describe the trip was Amazing. From the time the lodge owner, Tim and his crew pick you up at the airport to the time they drop you off, your experience is nothing short of excellent. The trip starts off with a brief introduction...

Just finished our fourth year at Green Rocks Lodge and had another great time. We continue to come back to this lodge because we love the self-guiding aspect of the lodge. There is so much that you can do here if you want to be adventurous. All the help is extremely helpful. The cooks are fantastic. Everyone goes out of...

First time here and it was absolutely amazing. I will have to disagree with that last guys bad review. Sounds like he is just being salty and had no boating experience or didn't even ask for help. These guys explained it all and even gave me fishing tips and areas to try. All you have to do is ask. They...

From the time he picked us up at the hotel to the time we departed, the only thing Tim was interested in was getting our money. He could care less about you as a paying guest. Even though this is a self guided "experience", there was little to no direction on using any of the equipment provided. The boat we...

Just got home from my stay at Green rocks lodge in Petersburg, AK. This was my 3rd time visiting and every time is better and better. Tim, Jason and the staff are wonderful! Cheech and Sam put out wonderful meals with a lot of variety and lots of food. Ian, Carson and Trevor were always helpful and courteous. This is...
