The view of the river is amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a bit dated but centrally located, comfortable and clean. When we go back to Seldotna to fish Sockeye we will probably stay here again.

No clue. I'm not a fisherman. It seems that half of the population of the Kenai Peninsula makes its living running fishing expeditions/charters. I saw lots of FedEx and UPS trucks at fish processing plants. Honestly, if all you want is fresh salmon, save yourself a trip and go to Trader Joe's.
