This is a basic hotel, and I stayed here on a Bodyboarding holiday with a bunch of other people. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable (beers, mainly), the location is good, but the rooms simply are not. The beds are incredibly hard, and the entire bathroom is outside. Not exactly ideal, but at the end of the day,...

We stayed there for 3 nights and we were really satisfied. Room was nice and cute. It would be nice if there was more shelves and hooks to hang things, especially wet swimmers and towels. There was outdoor toilet and shower which was funny, but it was good though. We only had fan and it did the job, didnt need...

Stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a newly finished room which was lovely. Bathroom was half outside and I loved it! Small swimming pool but nice for a dip to cool off. Breakfast was fantastic - really enjoyed it! good location

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 6 nights, at our last night we swapped room and got bedbugs which we discovered on our flight back home. We also had arranged a driver for the airport which got cancelled without us knowing. So when we got back from the beach, they put us in to a different car with another...

I absolutely loved this place and primarily it was due to location, staff and value for money. They served a decent breakfast and staff were always immensely helpful, rooms tidy. Only thing that bothered me a bit was the construction site near by.

I would definitely return. Good prices on accomodation, right in the centre of Canggu, clean, comfortable beds and room service everyday. The ONLY issue was the aircon was quite noisy in our room and the shower was barely minimal pressure (probably needed fixing at the time). But despite those very tiny flaws, it was exceptional. We even got a free...

I stayed in a dorm for four, but it was just me and another girl. Normal beds, clean with good air con. Bathroom was very simple and not working that well. Amazing pool just outside the rooms. Friendly staff. Rented a scooter there and because it didn't have insure I haid to pay for a broken tire (50 000). Very...

Stayed for 2 nights and it was a really pleasant stay. It's a 6 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Nice roof terrace for breakfast, to chill, meet other travellers, yoga and to meditate in the evenings. Rooms are a bit small but it should be ok if you're going to be out most of the day. Bathrooms are...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Echoland is a stylish 17-room B&B designed to provide balance between the modern demands for clean comfortable living with all the expected amenities, whilst still capturing the rich ethnic flavor of the immediate Balinese surroundings. The hotel is situated in the Canggu district, 250 meter from the surfers Echo Beach. This area is perfect for visitors in search of both the culture of Balinese life and the natural beauty of the island landscape. We are bordered by paddy fields that are overlooked by towering volcanoes and within earshot of the powerful waves of the Indian Ocean. Echo Beach maintains its traditional village character, but with its increasing popularity, a cluster of restaurants and shops can be found nestling on the sea front. These provide quality cuisine together with live music and are the ideal place to relax, watch the surfing and take in the natural atmosphere and shear beauty of this unique shore line. We look forward to welcoming you as guestFREE Airport transfer with a minimum stay of 5 nights or more ... more   less
