This is really nice place, but definitely more of a hotel or B&B vibe than a hostel. Most rooms are for couples or groups of friends, and only 2 (in think?) rooms were shared dorms. So basically there wasn't much really going on. The rooftop is really nice, but was almost always empty, as people seemed to just be doing...

For the price this is a very good hotel. It's clean, minimal in a modern way, and their breakfast is made to order and solid. The rooftop kitchen is a huge plus and you can relax up there under the shade and relax. The staff is very professional and friendly. The location is close to the main strip of restaurants...

So I'm probably not the type of guest you would imagine to stay in a hotel/hostel like this but I loved it all the same. I stayed in a deluxe aircon room that opened on to the pool, The room didnt have a lot of space but enough to have your suitcase out of the way and a little day...

Great spot, at one of the best beaches I'm Bali. Staff was excellent (especially Aditya and Nesa) and extremely helpful. The outdoor bathrooms took some getting used to, but the price for the value and location is excellent! Canggu should be where you're thinking about staying for a chilled Bali vibe or an ideal surf spot.

Stayed at Echoland for 3 nights. Great location, very close to all the surrounding surf spots. Great value for money, breakfast was great and the room clean. The aircon was working but not freezing cold (wasnt a train smash). Wifi was nice and storng and managed to do a bit of work in-between the surf. The only one small downside...

Compared to average price in Bali, this place is expensive for what you get. The room is very small with no natural light coming in (the only window is facing the public area and in our room the blind was locked so you couldn't get any light in). The bathroom is outdoor and it was full of ants. For half...

Stayed here for a few nights in April. Room was simple, clean and comfortable - nice outside bathroom too. Brekkie on the roof. Staff super friendly and helpful. Good location close to Echo beach. Don't choose here if you want to lie by the pool though as there are no loungers and the pool is more for cooling off. Note-...

I was staying next door at Echo Villas (not related to Echoland) and needed to leave our suitcases after we checked out so we could go for a surf lesson but our host told us they couldn't hold them which was very disappointing. However the team at Echoland next door were super nice and kept our bags for us instead...

I spent 7 nights at Echoland with my friend and can not find anything to complain. The staff is very nice, breakfast good, rooms clean and comfortable to the price and location very close to Changgu beach is excellent. Scooters were cheap to rent and staff very helpful in organizing transportation to airport, surfing lessons and guidance with restaurants and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Echoland is a stylish 17-room B&B designed to provide balance between the modern demands for clean comfortable living with all the expected amenities, whilst still capturing the rich ethnic flavor of the immediate Balinese surroundings. The hotel is situated in the Canggu district, 250 meter from the surfers Echo Beach. This area is perfect for visitors in search of both the culture of Balinese life and the natural beauty of the island landscape. We are bordered by paddy fields that are overlooked by towering volcanoes and within earshot of the powerful waves of the Indian Ocean. Echo Beach maintains its traditional village character, but with its increasing popularity, a cluster of restaurants and shops can be found nestling on the sea front. These provide quality cuisine together with live music and are the ideal place to relax, watch the surfing and take in the natural atmosphere and shear beauty of this unique shore line. We look forward to welcoming you as guestFREE Airport transfer with a minimum stay of 5 nights or more ... more   less
