The room was clean enough but very bare bones and the bathroom shower was weird; the shower head was in exactly the wrong place. You must be a mountain goat to stay here. We had about 75 stairs to climb to our room. We stayed for 2 nights and found another hotel for the 3rd night which was miles above...

We booked 4 nights at the Cat Cat Hotel and enjoyed our stay. It is far enough from the main tourist strip that you feel like you can relax while at the hotel, but close enough that you can walk in quickly. The staff were great and always helpful. They made several recommendations on tours and were able to book...

First of all, we paid 3x the price of our room because it was holiday. I work in the tourism industry and I fully understand charging more for peak times so we didn't complain, we just accepted that we were booking last minute on a holiday and that's just how it is. It turns out that several other hotels in...

Not a bad place to stay although we weary if you are on the top floor as you have 68 steps to walk to your room. Rooms are extremely tired looking and the towels need replacing. There is a kettle in the rooms but no tea nor coffee. View outstanding and breakfast good. The guy at reception has outstanding English...

My partner and I stayed at cat cat hotel for 4 nights and loved it. The room had the most amazing views over the mountains and a great little deck to have an afternoon beer. Very clean and great breakfast . Mr Ang was great and booked us into a wonderful walking trek down the valley into the traditional villages....

During our trip to sapa, we booked a hotel in one of the Cat Cat affiliated hotels (Fansipan Terrace cafe). We needed to alter our plans a bit due to the bus times of busses going from hanoi to sapa. We requested to check in a day later, and the staff was very flexible in helping us. The hotel was...

There should only be phenomenal reviews for this place and the owners! We stayed in Sapa for 3 days and were completely taken care of. We had a cozy 3 bed room, nice bathroom with hot water. Free breakfast, trekking options and bus/train tickets! On our first day we scheduled a trek, laundry and our bus to Hanoi. It was...

This review is for Cat Car Hotel at 42 Fansipan road since there are lots of Cat Cat hotels with the same name. I chose this hotel based on TA reviews. However, once checked in, we were deeply disappointed. The facility is run down and hygiene is at best questionable. Our sheets had brown stains all over it. The bathroom...

The hotel is in a good location on a main road but not the main road in Sapa. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor which was quiet but lower rooms (which we stayed in on our second stay) do suffer from traffic noise as there is a lot of construction in...
