I had an interesting trip in Sapa . I booked the hotel in Sapa hostel . here are broad and clean rooms . Besides beautiful view and a view of the mountain straight dragon jaw . Hotels with garden very wide , appropriate for me to sit drinking coffee and reading. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of... More

The summary says it all. If your expectations are low, you will not be disappointed. It is a cheap option for staying in Sapa. What I liked: the reception women speaks English surprisingly good, and they offer a taxi service to the main rail station. Also, the location is close to the center of Sapa, which makes exploring the area... More

Big rooms with a great view although I couldn't really see it through the fog. The bathrooms are gross, cold, damp, and unmaintained. I was freaked out using the and didn't even bother to shower until I went to another hotel. Also, there were spiders all over the room along the ceiling and wall. The worst part is it is... More

I had an awful experience at this hotel/hostel. As the title states, the male owner of the hostel yelled at me, threatened to punch me, and pushed a female guest who was trying to film the incident. The property was not very clean, and is definitely shoddily constructed, leading to an incident where a sink would break on me and... More

The hostel is location right in the center of the town but separate area like a private house and only few steps from the church. Our room 202 was clean and very good view. Mr Joseph (Mr Oai - family name) and his family was very friendly and helpful us during time stay here. Thank you very much!

It was not a pleasant stay in sapa hostel. The rooms were dirty, the beds were hard and there was almost no water pressure. The biggest problem however, was the noise of the construction site next door. There are plenty of cheap hotels in sapa, you better look for something else.

The only positive point i can think of is the friendly staff. Hostel is dated, dirty and very noisy. They are building next to the hotel, starting at 6 am. Also there is a rooster making a lot of noise from 6 am. As there is only a door with gases, you hear everything very loud. Shower is cold after... More

Okay so I know this a budget hostel but the photos are completely misleading and I've stayed in plenty of budget hostels that manage to do it better. The dorms were dirty, shabby, mouldy and damp. I wasn't given any breakfast despite it being included in the price. The owners were nice, however at night there was ALOT of noise... More

The view alone is phenomenal, the place is spacious, clean and relaxed. Staff are helpful but not annoying. It's two seconds from the middle of town. Can book motorbikes from there - and trust me - don't do Sapa without grabbing a bike and heading up the mountains.

I stayed at the #33 Fanxipan location. The dorms here are awesome! $4 USD a night. Get the room right at the end of the hall. It has an AMAZING view of the valley. Only four beds per room and they are huge, almost double beds and so soft and comfortable. Good quality clean bedding, hot shower, everything clean and... More
