Went to this hotel because of tour package. Hotel was nice but no elevator, we had the 4th and 5th floors on different nights. View was excellent and room size was very nice and breakfast buffet was good. But my BIGGEST COMPLAINT was with exchanging USD to Dong. The reception man in the front jipped me and told me a...

I wasn't expecting much more than a view going on the reviews but Bamboo sapa is great! Private balcony opens up onto the most amazing view, beds warm and typically firm, large LCD tv, strong wifi connection, tea coffee and water in room. Staff are also very polite and attentive, we had our doors opened for us all the time...

We stayed here for 2 nights at end of October. Views from the balcony are phenomenal. Definitely take your wide angle lens if your camera has one. Usual hotel room, but very clean and quiet. No lift, but the stairs were good exercise. The buffet breakfast can be served outside or inside, and there is a good choice. I always...

Loved this hotel. Friendly attentive staff who saw that we were exhausted and gave us the keys as soon as the room was available. The views from the windows are gorgeous, more like an European chalet than something in Asia. Loving it here.

Booked a Mountain View Deluxe for 2 nights. King bedded room with LCD TV (we didn't use it as there's too much to see/do), nice bathroom. Balcony is great to stand on, but no chairs. Some other reviewers point out there's no lift (aka elevator) but really if the stairs are a challenge maybe you shouldn't go to the mountainous...

We were booked into this hotel by the tour operator we used to take us to Sapa. Pro's were fantastic view, spacious and a quiet place to hide from our new friends waiting on the street who were secretly trying to sell us stuff (sound familiar). Con's: no air con, no lifts, dated decor and facilities, and only one choice...

Our Tour Agents in Hanoi booked us into this hotel. As a first timer to Sapa, I found this hotel ok, and good place for a night. The front office staff was extremely courteous , and allowed us to check in early. We had a party of 3 persons, which originally booked a triple. We were touched and happy that...

We stayed at the Bamboo Sapa hotel for one night. We were allocated a clean and spacious room, with a king-size bed, LCD TV, minibar, 2 bottles of water provided free of charge from the hotel, coffee and tea available to us to be prepared with the usual electric kettle, two armchairs and a small table placed in front of...

Stayed her for a couple of nights, and without doubt the best thing about the place is the view over the valley. Definitely not worth getting a cheap room, you have to have a deluxe room (ie with a view). Breakfast is OK, pretty standard Asian 3* buffet. Restaurant looked pricey and characterless, so ate out (The Hill Station definitely...
