Nice people, clean basic rooms. They didn’t have garage parking available as we had requested, but it was easy to park down the street. No breakfast, but it looked like they were in the process of installing a breakfast room.

Small, cosy, and ideally located in the centre. The square is close by where there is great eating to be found. I really enjoyed my stay here. Was doing a motorbike tour with my son. Needless to say I took my wife here on a later holiday. A very romantic atmospheric old Castle walled city. Reminded me of Jerusalem. A...

Situated a few hundred metres from the main sites in the city, this hostal is great for a short break. Check-in was a bit fussy but we soon had our room, which was clean and had everything required. The hotel decor is great, our room overlooked a rear courtyard and had views to the parador and city walls. Parking is...

Perfect place to rest and take in the city. Very peaceful. Is all you need and the price can not be beat inside the walls. I have stayed here since 1996 and would not consider elsewhere. Avila is about peace and you will find it here.

The hostal is nice and clean, it's located in quiet place. My room was designed in country style, with a comfortable bed. Staff was nice and helpful though only one of them spoke english but it wasn't a problem.

I travel a lot in Spain, & due to budget restrictions, I tend to opt for the lower end of the market. Many Hostals could learn a great deal from this establishment. Fantastic location, quiet room, clean & well presented, and both of the staff I met were very helpful, especially the girl on reception. ( Anna, I think ).

We stayed 2 nights, this was the cheapest place we stayed in Spain (about 30 Euros for a double room) but the best. We had a large room with a private bathroom, double bed, sofa, TV etc. The location was excellent, near the centre of town and the city walls. They got us a special lunch deal (8% off) at...

Nice and clean room in pleasant hostel inside medieval walled old town but light sleepers can have problem with noise from next rooms, because walls are probably too thin. Price was reasonable, maybe best in town for this facilities.

Don Diego hotel is across from the Avila's Parador. Price was right for two people in mid-May. Great location in the heart of Avila. A little off the Plaza - about 5 to 10 minute walk up the hill. Friendly innkeepers and a nice clean room. Room is clean and the bathroom was modern. We were 3 floors up. The...
