Everything as you would like it, position, facilities nature all around. Fabulous in winter time as the mountain is close by. We stayed for 2 days but could have stayed longer. I can recommend this accomodation.

We stayed in a budget studio at Clyde Street for 4 nights in June. It was so clean and looked newly renovated. It is in a great location, so convenient to drive up the mountains and hike about. Best of all are the electric blankets and heater, great for cold Winter nights! Ohakune is a lovely small town. Right next...

Lyn runs the bed and breakfast from her home. This is in a very quiet street close to the centre of town. My husband and I had pretty well the whole house to ourselves as Lyn is out during the day. She provides a terrific cooked breakfast at the time of your choosing (between 7 and 9 I think). The...

We stayed in one of the townhouses by the Junction. Three bedrooms,so tons of space. Being self-contained,we had privacy. Decor/furnishings are contemporary. We had the third townhouse(Number 4),so we backed onto the garden and had fabulous views of the national park. Recommend the Cypress Tree for dinner. Delicious! The staff at the i-SITE are friendly and helpful. Get a photo...

Three of us stayed in the three bedroom Snowhaven Apartment in Ohakune. It features two bedrooms with queen/king sized beds and a bunk room. The apartment is tidy and clean with a reasonably well equipped kitchen. I found the reception staff easy to deal with, and they had no issues accommodating our late arrival. I thought it was great value...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in December of 2015. The accommodations were nice but they advertised free wifi, which it didn't have, and the tv did not work. When we asked the staff about it they were not helpful. Not having wifi was a problem as we needed to stay on top of work while traveling.

We stayed for two nights in early January in the 3 bedroom apartment. It sleeps 8 with a bunk room sleeping 4. Ideal for two families with a couple of kids each and economical also. The apartment was well set up for self-catering and was just around the corner from the Powderhorn Chateau if you wanted a meal out at...

We went down on Christmas day to do Tongariro Crossing on Boxing day. Found the 3 bedroom apartment very lovely. 2 rooms had queen beds and the 3rd room had 2 sets of bunk beds. We were 4 adults in the group and it worked out very economical for us and had a lovely stay for 2 nights.

The local isite recommended this as a place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves which was nice. The manager gave us a room around the back (7) so it was quieter. We could still hear the trucks rumbling through town in the night. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. The kitchen facilities were...
