If a room is empty, the staff leave it open to help choose whether you would like to stay. There's alot to be proud of! The suites/rooms are of a very high quality. Alot of effect has gone into the rooms. It's very clear! Kitchen and all required parts are included. Bathroom is very clean. And the living room is...

Only got a small menu but lovely relaxing place to have a weekend lunch. Staff are great and the owner (Geoff) is a great host. Reasonably priced with a good selection of Good George beers and ciders and some nice non mainstream wines.

The restaurant out the front of the motel is a brilliant place to stop for awhile and watch the world go by. Decent beer on tap by Good George, and a well put together wine list. We had the platter which proved perfect with fish in coconut milk, warm olives, salami, humus, mussels, cheese and onion jam. The other items...

the motel has recently been extensively upgraded and a lot of care has been taken with the decor, the rooms are large and well equipped and the staff are very helpful , having a cafe on site is another advantage.

Stayed here for 5 night. Very comfortable and well equipped. Has good cafe with bar. Located opposite the beach. Wonderful beach. Staff very good. Is on main road so a little noisy early evening but not a problem. For light sleepers earplugs supplied but we didn't need them. Lots of restaurants nearby and good food shops. No need to drive...

Only stayed for 1 night on way back to Auckland - Orewa isn't much of a tourist destination, but the Beachomber motel was excellent - fabulous room, very comfortable & luxurious even - they have a bar / cafe on site which was excellent (especially the complimentary drink on arrival !!). Easy to find & very helpful / friendly owners.

Very impressed with the room we stayed in. Looked like something out of a designer mag. The cleanest motel/hotel we have ever stayed in. Just across the road from the beautiful beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bought Curries from Bollywoods Indian down the road and were the best curries we've ever had. Only downside were the noisy...

What a great little place - newly refurbished rooms and very well done/ Very handy to the beach and not to far away from the town center. To cap it off it has a fantastic little restaurant attached - Limited menu but what they do they do extremely well - Some very good kiwi food with some very nice twists...

We normally stay at The Waves down the road but fancied a change and what a delightful surprise! Fab rooms with fun decor and stocked with everything you could ask for. We ate early at a nearby Mediterranean restaurant and scurried back with a bottle of wine to enjoy the room. So relaxing and just across the road from the...
