Lovely room with nice decoration. Comfortable furniture but the motel is right by a very busy road and truck noise so it is never quiet. Park nearby is nice but I am glad we were only there one night as sleep is not easy.

So close to the road! Didn't sleep a wink. Think the windows didn't seal properly. Dated, peeling wallpaper, old oven but clean. Ok for one night if you bring ear plugs. Free Wifi limited to 500mb per device. The owners were really nice didn't enjoy writing this.

We stayed here last week for two nights . It was spotless and housekeeping did an excellent job. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is near a busy road and you can hear traffic , didn't bother us . I have read some reviews that say the decor is dated maybe but there it has been maintained. I would...

We stayed here one night on our motoring holiday. It was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is on a busy road so there was traffic noise which abated overnight and did not bother us. Very conveniently located for the park and supermarket and the things a traveller needs like restaurants. All within...

Ideal if you have a function to attend and only want a clean comfortable place to stay. We had a 2 bed roomed unit. Though older than a lot of other motels we found it easy to find. Good off street parking. No noise from the main road. Plenty of heating available. Only fault was low temperature and water flow...

Yep, noisy and a bit dated. I have stayed here three times now and know to ask for a room as far from the road as possible but this time it is worse than usual. No curtains on the kitchen window overlooked by the park behind so no privacy at night. I managed to block the window up with spare...

A friend and I stayed here 3 weeks ago. Friendly, helpful owners. Spotlessly clean rooms and well priced. Shops and harbour nearby. We stayed in a studio a room, it had 2 bedrooms. One with a double, the other 2 single beds. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed Thanks for having Derek & l.

A very nice slightly old fashioned motel overlooking a park. Our one bedroom unit was spacious with a very comfortable king-size bed. Everything was in spotless condition. The couple that own the motel were very pleasant and helpful. We will stay there again - in spite of the noise of the large trucks that travel through Timaru.

I find all motels in Timaru to be overpriced compared to say Auckland and wellington and this one is no exception. On the plus side while it is dated in décor it is very clean, the staff are very friendly and decent and, unlike any other motel I have stayed in in Timaru they pay a lot of attention to...

After booking 2 rooms through booking.com and not having the option with their system of specifying that our second room was for our young children - this meant our rooms ended up being quite apart. After mentioning this upon check it in this was corrected. Rooms were comfortable but somewhat dated.
