My first trip to Yap for diving and definitely not the last one. Very laxly through short ways between room, restaurant and dive center. Very good is, that after a short time the most of employees knows your name. Very special is the restaurant on an old sailing boat. Very international through Ruud as Netherlands hotel manager and Detlef as...

I stayed in Room 308, which probably is the best one of them all with a great view to the sea and the pool. Not sure how I got that lucky, but I did book 4 months beforehand (book direct from them, package deal with diving). The room has a lot of space with nice furniture. The bed is a...

Manta Ray Bay Resort used to be the jewel of Yap. Today, the rooms are old and stuffy and there is no effort to improve them so that they can keep up with the newer and better resorts around. This is sad because this resort has a lot of potential. We booked their rooms which have pools inside. We thought...

Five of us spent an incredible week with MRB Divers (five divers and two non-divers) and had an wonderful trip. The airport pickup was easy. Show up, go through customs and MRB's staff is waiting just outside the door with a sign. They grab your bags and then you're off on a short bus ride to the resort. Immediately walking...

Considering the very undeveloped nature of the location, the Manta Ray Bay Resort offers excellent accommodation and a well run dive centre (Yap Divers). My room was large, well appointed and had a balcony that overlooked the sea. Service was quietly efficient - everything you could ask for. Even the Internet was reasonable - given the remote location. The hotel...

I did not stayed at the hotel, however I did visited the place and I participated in one of their diving trips. The staff there got me ready to go real fast. They got all my gear ready. They installed my tanks, my weights and even helped me put it all on. We did two dives. After the first one,...

I didn't really know what to expect as this was really a last minute add-on to our main destination so it wasn't the original vacation focus. However, at the end of the entire trip, I looked back and enjoyed the time spent here more than my original primary location. The staff were great - super friendly and helpful. The owner...

If you're into scuba diving, put this place on your list. The resort is a little pricey, but everything is great. The rooms are wonderful, and the ship anchored to the side of the hotel serves as the breakfast / dining hall, bar, and movie theater. It's really a top notch place. The dive shop and operation is also fantastic...

I found the hotel to be nice, clean, modern and with a high standard. To high standard for my personal preference on a dive center hotel. I was disappointed with what was called to have an ocean view, where it was blocked with an old ship used as a restaurant. The hotel was nice, but in my point of view...

Stayed at and dove with the MBRH. Was an amazing visit! Everyone was incredibly friendly and nice. the food was excellent - loved the fresh fish every day. their local brew at the hotel was also quite tasty. the room was very spacious. the diving was really fantastic, although the weather only permitted dives on one side of the island....
