This is a great hotel for those who want to dive Yap. The dive operation attached to the hotel is professionally run and the proprietor, Bill Acker, is the man who pioneered scuba diving here with his interest in Mantas. Mantas are guaranteed but there are also plenty of other good dives here with plenty of sharks and other interesting...

This is my third trip to Yap and Manta Ray Bay Resort, I love the place, the accommodation is excellent, the dive boats are great and the dive sites great as well - Vertigo and the Mantas being the best. The meals and bar are great as well, wake up call with fresh brewed coffee or tea is a great...

I have been lucky enough to dive all over the world and the Manta Ray Bay Resort is definitely in my top 10. Yap itself is such a unique nation that even with out the diving (my main draw) the island itself and especially the Yapese people make this an experience that can be found nowhere else on our planet....

Best place to dive with Manta Rays ever! A very up close and personal experience at one of several cleaning stations only 20 feet below the surface. Magical. Loved the restaurant/boat at the resort. Friendly service.

The Manta Ray Bay Resort has a wonderful atmosphere of a family-run business set against one of the most beautiful island backdrops on the planet. Yap is a treasure in itself, with traditional culture strong at its backbone. The Manta Ray has become a strong part of that backbone since Bill Acker established both his family and the diving industry...

Our group dived with Manta Ray bay and we stayed at the resort and we loved it! The dive operation is friendly, helpful and very convenient. The dive spots from the channels to the drop-offs were exciting, fishy and we flew with the mantas! I would go back in a hot-second!!!

We went during the low season and darn near had the place to ourselves. They gave us an upgraded room with its own pool out side. The food at the "Ship" restaurant there was great as well as the service. The diving was great, only 3 people on the boat and we were two of them. Great reefs, WW II...

The rooms were really nice and spacious. The resort is located in a great spot with amazing diving and sunsets. The staff was very accommodating. One of our divers accidentally brought the wrong camera bag and they went back to the resort of pick up what he needed. On another dive, when we wanted to do a shark dive, they...

We had almost a week at this sweet resort, which was enlivened by daily scuba excursions. The place is known for its manta ray "cleaning station," which was a wonderful way to get up close and personal with these majestic creatures. Diving sites are chosen by the head of the dive shop and dive masters, so you don't get a...
