Called after coming off the ridge hiking for 3 days. Barbara made accommodation for us was sooooooo hospitable with her very clean and welcoming vibe. Price is VERY reasonable. Kitchen is very user friendly and the house is comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

This is the best value in Talkeetna: comfortable, convenient, and alaskan pioneer-owned; it is a home! I have stayed in both the bunkhouse, which is comfortable, and an upstairs bedroom in the house. Lovely

The location is great in Talkeetna but the service is even better. Barbara will take care of you better than no other! We 3 guys traveling had booked one room but since one extra was available she gave us an option of which one to stay in...a nice gesture especially since we chose the other room. Barbara also gave us...

Loved the house, the community, the management, clean and well-provided for. Central in town, movies and things to do at the house as well as a brewery, laundry, bakery, and general store next door in each direction. Loved my visit both the town and the hostel.

Converted house - B&B style private rooms upstairs, bunk house out back, nice/clean shared bathrooms downstairs and well stocked kitchen. Sitting room with piano...feels like a home. Central location - can walk anywhere you need to go - which is good because town parking is a nightmare (so the 3 parking spaces behind the hostel are very useful!) Great hostel...

We were looking for a safe, clean accommodation for our 20 year old daughter as she passed through Talkeetna. This was perfect. Pat took good care of her, upgrading her to a semi private room when she was the only female in the bunk room. It was walking distance to the train station. No frills but just what she needed.

We stayed there for 1 night! It's a cute hostel with kitchen facilities and a cosy livingroom where u can easily get in touch with other travellers. Rooms are small but nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We needed a place to stay in Talkeetna and were lucky enough to find Pat's wonderful home right in the center of tiny Talkeetna. It was our first hostel stay, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The location is unbeatable, the home is comfortable, and the host is friendly and inviting.

Many thanks to Barbara and Albert for their hospitality. Seven Trees is a lovely warm and welcoming place, perfectly positioned in the centre of beautiful Talkeetna. Private rooms or bunkhouse are all tidy and neat, kitchen facilities are spotlessly maintained, and the sitting room is a cosy and inviting space (be sure to encourage Albert to take a seat at...
