We stayed in the main lodge and enjoyed our stay. The room had ample storage and the bed was comfortable. We shared the bathroom with an antique claw foot tub which was really unique. Room was clean. Cathy was really welcoming and accommodating. We left after our first night at 3 AM to catch a really early tour in Denali...

From the drive in everything about this place was adorable! We stayed in the Snoozin Moose Cabin and loved how they wrote your name on the chalkboard out front to welcome you. Our cabin had a queen bed and a loft. Furnishings were rustic and interior was inviting. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would come again. We stayed in the Cozy Moose cabin, which did not have running water, but the bathhouse was nearby. Everything was clean and inviting. Some of the guests spotted a moose and its baby. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing.

Stayed here one night with parents, son & boyfriend. It was great we had the whole house to ourselves. Our hostess said make yourselves at home... We stayed up late and played cards. Played with Charlie (cute little dog that lived there- mom wanted to take him home). Very relaxing and beautiful. We stayed downstairs but if you want a...

We loved the town Talkeetna, and the lodge was in a quiet setting just outside of town. Breakfast was included, which was minimal but fitting. They even had gluten free cereal! An added bonus for us was the house dog Charlie!

Stayed in the Master Suite situated by itself on the 2nd floor. Was a great home away from home feel providing wonderful R&R; room includes ample sitting area (futon sofa, upholstered chairs, and small table) and a large on-suite bath (jetted tub and large walk-in shower). The great rm on 1st floor is available for watching tv or gathering. At...

Lovely cabin, kind hostess, and extremely comfortable beds. Sweetly done decor and amenities abound! They even had bowls for our dog to use! The only drawbacks, which could be attributed to the season, were the lack of areas to walk/hike & the continental breakfast. Snow remnants seems to block what might've been paths. Breakfast was sugary baked breads, boiled eggs,...

Loved this place, will definitely be back. I travel with my dog and appreciate that they are dog friendly with reasonable pet fees. The cabins were small, tidy, and had all the necessities. They weren't exceedingly private, but not crowded either; we did go in the winter, so it wasn't terribly busy. It is hard to find a place that...

We stayed at the Meandering Moose for just one night. It is a bit off the beaten path from downtown Talkeetna but we had no problem finding it. We arrived early and Kathy was great about giving us some ideas to avoid the tourists (several busloads had just arrived in town) and give them time to get our room ready....

We stayed in the Mangy Moose and it was very nice - not mangy at all. This cabin can sleep 8 and has one bath. The cabin was clean, the bathroom seems new or newly renovated, it had a large living area, and the kitchen was serviceable. There was only 2 of us - we like shoulder season travel -...
