Fireweed Station Inn was one of our favorite places that we stayed on our three-week trip in Alaska. Mostly, because it felt like coming home. We were in the only guests at the inn that night, which meant that we got Tom and Hobbs all to ourselves. They were awesome. We loved chatting with them in the evening and the...

Tom and Hobbs were delightful and helpful. The rooms were basic, no frills, but met our needs. We were glad we arrived when the weather was still cool at night and there were screens on the windows. It is out of the "hustle and bustle" of the big city of Talkeetna down a very long gravel road. We enjoyed the...

Ah yes, the simple life at Fireweed Station! There’s no doubt that here we enjoy a slower pace of life in the peace and quiet at the end of the 1 & ½ mile gravel road. Our historic building can take you back in time to the basic pleasures in life. . . alas, it just might make you wish...

We stayed here both before and after our climbing trip in DNP and were very pleased with the rooms, food and most of all, hospitality! Tom and Hobbs will make you feel right at home and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and convenient! Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed in this super cozy lodge in the middle of winter. Tom and Hobbs felt like family, we enjoyed snow shoeing around the property with our dog, doing yoga in front of the fire place and my girls making bread in the kitchen with Hobbs.... Everything was perfect! This is the only place I will stay...

The host are exceptional! There were eight people in our party and everyone was delighted with the food and accommodations. Even the vegans and vegetarians were made to feel at home. The Fireweed Station Inn has been wonderfully restored with all the modern conveniences from an original building approaching a hundred years old. The Fireweed Station Inn represents a authentic...

Just beautiful (minus the mosquitos). The owners did a fantastic job with the renovation. The cabin sits on a piece of land which is very peaceful and beautiful. There are several guest rooms all with their own themes. We stayed in the “Rose”. The B&B was extremely clean and rustic. We had a wonderful opportunity to visit with Hobbs. We...

As Fireweed is about 12 miles out of Talkeetna, a surprisingly busy tourist spot, we took up Tom and Hobbs offer of dinner and aren't we glad we did. 5 star restaurant quality in a superb location. Breakfast was wonderful too. The accommodation is luxurious and if you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed. A couple of...

We stayed one night with Tom and Hobbs and found them to be delightful hosts. The breakfast was WOW out of this world. Choose freely from full eggs, bacon, coffee, decaf, juice, and toast, to granola, fresh fruit, breads, jams, I can't remember what all else, but if you love breakfast you will love this place! We are gluten free...
