What a piece of heaven. As you pull up to the house (lodge) you feel as if you really are entering the Alaskan dream. Greeted by owners Tom and Hobbs, I was ushered into a warm and inviting living room (with a classic wood burning stove!) and then shown my room. I instantly felt at home. I had stayed here...

My husband and I spent 1 evening at the Fireweed Station when visiting Talkeetna and we really enjoyed ourselves and wished we had plans to stay longer! Upon arrival, Hobbs was very welcoming and really made us feel at home. We settled into our room and she showed us the property - which is very beautiful and cozy/warm/inviting. We stayed...

One of the highlights of our recent trip to Alaska was the delightful two days we spent at the Fireweed Station Inn B & B. A beautifully restored lodge located in its own private forest, conveniently located several miles from Talkeetna and all it's activities, it served as the perfect ending to our trip. Our suite was unusually spacious and...

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored lodge. The owners, Tom and Hobbs, were great hosts and shared lots of interesting stories about the history of the lodge. The breakfast they prepared was fresh and delicious. Very comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens outside.

We stayed at Fireweed Station Inn our first night in Alsaka after a rigorous travel day of 3 flights and a drive from Anchorage to Talkeetna. We found the Inn with no trouble after calling Hobbs on the way. I was thrilled to find a lovely, warm home and genuine welcome from Tom & Hobbs at the end of the...

We had booked a room, but the owners gave us a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. We only stayed one night, but would have been very happy with a week's stay. While the Inn overlooks the Alaska RR, we did not hear the train pass through during the night. Otherwise the spot is secluded and idyllic. The owners are...

Our group was three couples and we occupied all of the three bedrooms at Fireweed. We had just completed an Inside Passage cruise followed by four days on the Kenai River in some very basic cabins. We were delighted with the accomodations, decor, surroundings and food at Fireweed Station. Hobbs and Tom were excellent hosts and shared some of their...

Tom & Hobbs are natural hosts. They made us feel most welcome. The room was terrific with deluxe amenities in the bath. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. After experiencing a lack of hospitality from other Alaskan innkeepers, this B&B was a welcome surprise.

My husband and I along with another couple stayed 1 night at Fireweed Station. I had looked for somewhere to stay in Talkeetna, with most being large lodges that were very over priced. I then looked on Tripadvisor and saw Fireweed Station. We made 1 nights reservation to stay between our Denali stay and our flyout lodge. It was everything...
