Very well run, happy & friendly staff, good communication from Eric re everything about the place, activities, etc., food was excellent and for this time of year a windward side bungalow was well worth it for the breeze. It's remote with no wifi but who cares - our 5 days here were fabulous.

Enjoyed three fabulous nights here in December. The highlight : Amazing scenery The bungalows are rustic and clean The staff are friendly and do their very best to make your stay welcome The food was great! I have seen mixed reviews on here about the food but considering how remote you are it was amazing. Breakfast was basic with bread...

And cats, rabbits, chickens and hermit crabs as they all sit with you at most meals. My time here is with mixed views. On arrival somewhat concerned of the menagerie and lack of mod cons. Power goes off at 8pm. On reflection, the location with the rugged ocean and stunning lagoon vista not to mention the rustic experience has a...

In November we spent a very memorable week at Raimiti pension in the south of Fakarava that features both oceanfront and lagoon facing bungalows. The views from ocean side or lagoon are frankly beyond imagination. Magnificent colors and cloud patterns with the ever-present sea so close at your feet. Each morning we watched the sun rise on the east side...

We have stayed at Raimiti in the end of October and really enjoyed it. This place is the place to go if you want to be away from everything and this is what we wanted. We stayed for a week and could have easily stayed for another one. The first few nights it was only us (a family) and 2...

I can imagine few places in the world more remote, or more magical, than Raimiti. After the two-hour transfer by boat, we felt as though we were truly at the end of the world. And that is just the beginning. Raimiti is exceptionally beautiful and full of delightful surprises. A couple of tips for divers: Book and confirm dive reservations...

If you are an avid snorkeler you might find this resort worth the discomfort. It is placed a 25 minute boat ride from one of the best snorkeling sites we encountered in four Polynesian Islands. The nearby pass. However the pension is hard to get to. After 2 flights from our previous stop we arrived to an hour and a...

Be aware this is not like a 5* hotel with all the services, this is a 5* experience. No electricity at night but petrol lamp, no a/c but wind from the ocean. Great and fresh homemade food (so limited choice) and of course no wifi. Be also ready to meet the owner - a little lunatic - that could be...

It's a wonderful place. Beautiful, peaceful and remote. Snorkeling is unbelievable. Every meal was exceptional. The staff was helpful, friendly, and fun to be with. We are definitely planning to return.
