This hotel is located 2,5 hours drive away from the airport of Marsa Alam. The hotel itself is nice, has 2 pools and has a housereef where you can snorkel if you want. You can see that the hotel is build several years ago, so here en there you can see some things that need some paint for exemple. But...

Great Place with a very nice view, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was fine clean my only problem was the bathroom sometimes it has an unpleasant smell but overall it was fine. Food was fine, also there was a place on the beach where you can drink gabana coffee which is very nice. Beach was nice and clean and...

We chose Hamata and the Fury Shoals because its remote, unspoiled, safe and all we want to do is dive, snorkel and catch some sun. For that reason the place is idyllic. We went with RegalDive and chose to book Wadi Lamy Azur because they have Orca Divers on site. The hotel is 3/4 star no more. Its tired because...

I've been coming to Egypt for the past 15 years, and thus am quite familiar with the Marsa Alam region. As a diver, I don't go to Hurghada on principle - the reefs there are seriously damaged by inexperienced / disrespectful people. Since I spend about half my stay under water or on the way there, my definition of a...

This resort if perfect for you if you're a scuba-diver or a kite-surfer. If you're neither of those things, then you may find yourself a little bored! If you're the kind of person that likes 5 star chain hotels, then this resort is not for you. As for my boyfriend and I, we had the most wonderful time and couldn't...

November is still a good time to enjoy some extra summer for us Europeans. I have also experienced the Red Sea at Christmas but I will not do that again, days are short and windy so you cannot enjoy the beach to the fullest. As for the resort: gardens are beautiful and very well looked after. Our double room was...

For the price paid, I am sure the hotel could do better. We paid less in Marsa Alam and received better service and food. The room is basic which is fine as it as pictured. The bathroom was not quite alright and was in dire need of a redo. No light in the shower area made it hard to see...

“The only thing is that where ever you are, somewhere around 5am they start spraying antisectic powder all over the place, gardens, bushes... But I rather have noise for 10 minutes in the morning than insects when I eat, sleep and am around the pool. So all the rooms have this disadvantage, but the sea view is not worth additional 5 eur per night.”
