We really enjoyed our stay - our dogs did too! Great view from the back porch - nice quiet place! Decor very charming! Dogs loved the enclosed back yard, as well as the paths right outside the back gate.

The Sleepy Dog was a homey and relaxing place to stay. Tad, the guesthouse owner/operator, went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable. She even let me borrow her car when mine had a flat!

We LOVED the Sleepy Dog - it was a great house - our two dogs loved the place - and it was great to walk right into the old town. This was our first trip to Bisbee, even though we've been living in AZ for several years - it's an adorable town, and it was great to get away from...

Bisbee is amazing and the SleepyDog is just the perfect place to relax, eat (kitchen) watch humming birds, and finches at the feeders, look out over the town from the beautiful deck, sleep (very comfy, clean, King sized bed) or simply create memories. SleepyDog sits on the side of a high point in the town. You are able to see...

After several days in the Phoenix area at a resort, the Sleepy Dog was a welcome change to down-to-earth comfort and fun. Bisbee, home of super-friendly people, funky shops, and a cool mine, easily occupied us for three days and could have for more. Tad's place felt like a home away from home, and had excellent views of the town....

Charming guest house overlooking town of Bisbee. Comfortably furnished with bright colors throughout and ample room for 2 plus our 2 dogs. Completely fenced yard with fine view of town from the house, patio and yard. Adjacent to hiking trail and convenient to stores and restaurants. We are looking forward to a return visit.

What a great place from which to explore Bisbee and all its wonderful nooks and crannies. The Sleepy Dog is decorated with bright, happy colors and dog- and cowboy-tchochkes galore. You can spend half your stay just exploring all the great decor, not to mention Tad's wonderful watercolors. It's a perfect place for those with dogs--even a small enclosed yard...

We could go on and on about the Sleepy Dog. It is by far the best guest house in the world :) My husband, dog, and I are headed down again this weekend and we can hardly wait. It is such a great escape and has many personal touches that make it a great getaway. It is fully furnished, a...

Stayed at the Sleepy Dog in December. The guest house is even more charming than it looks in the pictures. With Tad's artwork, collections and personal touches everywhere, we truly felt like we were staying at a friend's home. The view of Bisbee is spectacular, and our dog loved the back yard. Our stay was the week before Christmas, and...

The Sleepy Dog Guest House is a family experience loaded with character. This quaint hill-side house--fully furnished and loaded with antique knicknacks and artwork--has a wall full of windows which overlook Old Bisbee. We, including child and dogs, had a fabulous time and highly recommend it to anyone.

“This is not for everyone as there are 48 steps to climb from where you park. So, please talk with the owner if you have any doubts. BUT, for ME, I love it!!!”

“Payment with cash or check only. Just a heads up: there is only a bathtub. Pets allowed. Stop at the Safeway near town for any groceries you may want as there is no grocery store within walking distance in Old Bisbee only a Circle K with minimal items. Be prepared for stairs up to the house.”
