The location is tuck away in a very secluded location. There was a golf course, restaurant that looked good. The lobby and check in was great. The reason for the 3 stars - the beds were horrible. I would have been more comfortable on the floor. Most of the bedding was great and soft. But the duvet had been to...

What a find! This place may be getting on in years, but the plus side to that is the gorgeous setting in pristine and spectacular desert, with really great views and walks locally. I even heard coyotes howling at night! The room was a tad lackluster but had everything I needed. The landscaping is TERRIFIC, the desert plants are real...

This hotel has a lovely view and a nice vibe but the rooms are very out of date. The employees are wonderful. The bar is great. The food is also quite good though the service is very slow. Front desk is also very helpful. No working a/c in my suite.

I thought the resort was really pretty! The large tennis courts were fun, the old time theme and grounds were fun to adventure & see. The pool is big & heated, nice jacuzzi too. But the room we were given did not face anything pretty. It was "down stairs" and faced a concrete wall with a parking lot behind it....

Good afternoon Nicole G, Thank you for your kind comments regarding the grounds and pool area. The view from your room is based on the type of room you booked. If you were looking for a pool or garden view, I would recommend a Premier room for future stays. In regards to the resort fee, the city requires us to...

We recently stayed here for an overnight stop during our tour of the western USA. The room was comfortable and large but could do with some updating. We had been warned that the restaurant was slow so we allowed an hour for our breakfast. There were only a few other customers in the restaurant but it took a while for...

Overall, the property is in dire need of an update. It's old and our room was falling apart, needing serious repair. If it's a quiet getaway you're looking for, this is the place. Then again, you're in Carefree, which is really out in the desert. It gets really dark there at night. We were there in March and the place...

An excellent hotel/resort with a large pool, free wi-fi, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely views and the villas/lodges surrounded by the cacti. Very relaxing with friendly staff. Restaurant was good.

This is such a lovely little town and a great resort to stay at when attending Spring Training baseball games. The prices EVERYWHERE this time of year are ridiculous but staying at this beautiful somewhat secluded resort makes it a little less painful. We have stayed at the Carefree Resort and Conference center 3 years in a row and we...

We stayed at Carefree Resort for my niece's nearby wedding this past weekend. Overall, my husband and I were happy with the accommodations. Our few issues included hearing a woman shuffle a deck of cards in the next room, not being assured of the availability of a rental mini fridge (during most unseasonably hot weather), and problems with a room...

We had a short stay. After sunset through sunrise. The decor was lovely. American West and Cowboy style. The cactus gardens and pool are vast and nearly meticulous. No shower head on our shower in an updated bathroom, like many others, where the water has no boundary so it soaks the whole bathroom floor. Skimpy on the towels which were...
