Arrived at hotel and was given room 129 went there and we had 2 keys only one worked even then you had to strong arm the door to open it. There was cigarettes' outside the room door no one had swept it. The trash can was full of stull including old clothes outside our room and a pillow. Not a good start. We then unpacked all ok the bathroom is old the paint flaking off the bath tub and the whole bathroom need a clean and updating. we were there 2 nights we thought it would be ok. Next morning got up to shower no hot water in the shower. We went to call to complain no answer at front desk after leaving the phone to ring for over 10 minutes. We went to front desk they said it would be sorted the girl at the desk did not seem very concerned and I raised the issue of the door she said they knew already! Wen out for the day came back and could not get into the room with the keys so had to go back to the front desk to get the rooms keys again girl could be barely be bothered to make eye contact let only apologize. They rest of the stay was ok we had a lukewarm shower. never staying there again and am a choice rewards member so not happy overall worst hotel in a while. Please do not stay here is you have a choice pun intended!…
In the 5 hours since we checked in, I have killed 5 roaches: the dogs water bowl, the bathroom, the microwave area, the dining table, the floor by the couch. Check in took way too long, although I think the employee was new, not confident, and not yet well trained. She asked us to come back at 3 PM and the manager could handle our check in. What is aggravating is that I am a Choice Rewards member, and the front desk was able to pull up my profile showing our previous visits to this very hotel, and she still was not comfortable checking us in without the manager's approval. We are senior citizens and my husband walks with a cane. It was not at all convenient, but she was a nice person. The couch in the lobby did not look clean, either.
I really can't think of any positive points, except that is was cooler than the 110 degrees outside. This place is dirty, and poorly managed. Our family booked 2 rooms for a night event nearby. One was for 2 nights so we would have a room to relax, swim and change before. Bathrooms were disgusting, not enough towels for everyone in each room and clogged drains. Four people in our room, 3 adults, one child- 3 towels, a sliver of soap and barely enough shampoo for 1 person. The pool was just awful, smelled, full of debris. No towels there either. Outdoor furniture dirty and trash everywhere. On Sunday, the toilet in one room clogged up, threatening to overflow. When called, a housekeeper came, handed my daughter-in-law a plunger in a plastic bag through the doorway and left. I don't usually write reviews, but this place should clean up it's act, literally.…
I’m not sure why this hotel has good reviews. It is very unsanitary. We requested a non smoking room, and we walked into a smokey room. We also discovered the sheets were stained and we also found hair. The bathroom was moldy and paint was peeling off the wall. They wouldn’t give me a refund. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites down the road. More expensive but nice and clean.
Calling this place a dump is being nice. We booked two adjoining rooms and noticed in the entry ways to the rooms pots with plants in them, or what used to be plants. All were dead and hanging down sides of the pots. That should have been a dead give away (no pun intended) of what we could expect. In one of the rooms was an old large microwave oven sitting in a chair blocking the adjoining rooms. An old metal cable box on the table with wires hanging down from the box and from the tv. The carpets were so nasty I didn't let my grandkids walk on them without socks. There was about a 1/4th a roll of toilet paper in one room and maybe a half in the other rooms bath. That was it for 9 people staying two days. When I asked to have more toilet paper brought to the rooms the person brought 1 roll. Really! The water in one of the bathroom sinks wouldn't drain and behind the toilet was about an 8" water/mold stain going up the wall and it smelled. I am glad we brought our own bedding and pillows. Hard to tell if the sheets had really been changed. The swimming pool was another huge disappointment......there were cigarette butts all over the cement around the pool where the tables and chairs were. The table and chairs didn't look like they have been cleaned in ages. The BBQ grills were so greasy and dirty looking they were beyond disgusting. There must have been a party at some point at the pool because boxes were stacked about 2' high on the sides of the grills with beer logos on them and the beer cans were stacked and running over. The large black containers that were supposed to have clean and dirty towels are so dirty I wouldn't let my grandkids open them. Thankfully, we brought our own towels. Probably wouldn't have used them even if there had been some in the containers. Whoever owns the property or is managing it should be ashamed.…
