I have been in this hotel for almost 10 weeks. After 10 weeks, housekeeping has only once came without asking them to come. When I say ask, I actually mean beg. I feel bad for the front desk people as they really seem to try to get the housekeeping staff to show up, but they seldom do. As I write this review, I sit in a room that has not been cleaned for 10 days. They will tell you that rooms only get cleaned every 7 days, but that actually depends on a number of factors in my experience. I have been told that housekeeping is short handed, large groups came that made extra messy rooms, and that it was miscommunicated that my room needed cleaning. I was told this week that someone would clean Tuesday then Wednesday then Thursday and still not cleaned. Maybe Friday??? Even the General Manager can’t seem to get the cleaners to come as today I was promised by him and it never happened. It’s a nice hotel, nice employees, nice view but really bad housekeeping.

I've stayed here off and on over the last two years when on my business trips and I'll just start with the good..........1) Real nice lobby and eating area, flooded with natural light and the entire back side retracts to convert the whole area into an open breeze way to the poll/patio area. 2) Hotel appearance and rooms are of modern up to date decor. 3) Pool/patio area over looking the pond gives it that resort feel that none of the other Residence Inn's have. 4) Friendly staff at front desk. 5) Rooms are comfortable with super nice views on the upper floors overlooking the pond and pool area. Now, the BAD........this COVID crap needs to end with the house keeping issue. Hotel still charges full rates with reduced services. The house keeping has been drastically reduced and the hotel has become dirty and the house keeping has been inadequate. If I'm still paying full rate, I expect to have my room cleaned everyday. The last two times I've been here (last summer and fall) during COVID, I was told the house keeping only cleans rooms once a week. OK, but on two of my stays when I was there for two weeks or more, house keeping skipped over me on the day they were supposed to clean. I practically had to beg the front desk to get them up there. No one should have to ask for this service, this is supposed to be included with the hotel! On one of my stays it took me two extra days beyond the one week cleaning day to get them up there. The house keeping staff was working really late into the afternoon and appeared to be grossly under staffed the last two visits here. Last April when the hotel was virtually empty right after COVID hit, that was OK but over the months, as more people started staying there again, that under staffing was starting to show.........it was getting harder to get the room cleaned and I was seeing a lot more trash in the hall ways. Other than the house keeping, the internet, for some reason was very sluggish and slow the last few visits. Had to use my hot spot on a few occasions when the internet became practically unusable. Maybe I'll stay here again when things get back to normal, start seeing full service again and the house keeping situation is improved, but for now I stay somewhere else when I take my business trips to this area. This Residence Inn, with the reduced service, is not worth the rate they charge.

Great hotel, the team took care of my and my wife's every need in the days before our wedding! They put a congratulatory sign in the lobby and even gave us a little gift at checking with some luggage tags! Thanks, Joey/Chris/Jennifer for making us feel special! Both of our rooms were great and the other parties who stayed there were all very complimentary about it!

I have stayed at many Residence Inn properties and LOVE this Residence Inn. It is so clean and everyone is soo nice! The GM Chris, manager Don, breakfast guy Jay and cleaning crew Jordan!!! Jordan was always so friendly every morning and even push the button to the elevator for me so it was there before I got there! I am not sure why this property does not always get 5 stars! Also, it is so close to many great restaurants ... downtown Chandler is awesome, visit The Stillery for great live music! Go to La Rista Mexican for their stacked Enchilada ... got their mashed potato side which waitress recommend, OMG! And, downtown Gilbert offers many great restaurants - Postinos has happy hour until 5:00 everyday ... and Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row is soo awesone, you feel like you are in Nashville. San Tan Flats is about 30 minutes and worth it -- great bands, outdoor fire pits where you can roast marshmallows and make smores! And the best hamburger I have ever had anywhere! I would highly recommend staying here!

Ok, First, I do not understand the few negative reviews as that has not been our experience at all In looking closely at what was written, it seems like the hotel just couldn’t win and it looks like the same person/group. I have traveled for work for 16 yrs, 9 of which were 50 weeks a year. I have stayed in many Marriott properties, including many Residence Inns. For the travel we are doing for this trip, it’s business but we bring our dog (it’s a dog sport event) so dog friendly hotels are key. This is the nicest, prettiest Residence Inn I have ever stayed in. Not only is this hotel beautiful,,with its fire pits, fire places, pretty interiors and architecture and surrounding grassy walkway around the lakes that are stocked with so many fish, the staff is so nice. We were greeted coming and going with friendly hello’s. My dog, who is a larger breed dog but very gentle, was greeted like she belonged there. The hotel was busy on our last night but it was very quiet. The surrounding area seems to be going through a gentrification with many new businesses coming in. The hotel is surrounded by an equally pretty area of nice restaurants and high end wine bar. Fashion Center with many more restaurants is just 4 miles up the road. I will stay here anytime I have to come back to the greater Phoenix area. It was a lovely stay.
