Karen took us to our room, explaining that Mae West and John Wayne had stayed here. Awesome! We went out on the shared balcony while she told us about local restaurants and a little bit about the town. Really nice to feel connected to the area. We stayed in the Stargazer room and enjoyed it. It comes with its own...

Our rooms are all updated with hypo-allergenic memory foam posture-pedic mattresses, so always great to hear when a guest enjoys the comfort and to take the time to write us a nice review!

This older hotel is clean and well cared for. The Cottonwood Hotel is one of the few places to stay in downtown Cottonwood. Off street parking is provided. Since the owner is also the maid, the desk clerk and the bellperson, expect to check in at only specific times. Also expect to pay an extra fee if you are only...

This older hotel (small boutique inn) is the only historic lodging that contributes to the National Register Listing 'Cottonwood Commercial Historic District'... In order for that status the exterior features remain with historic integrity. The interior is all updated with modern amenities. We also are the 'only' lodging in Old Town with its own parking lot that provides free off...

Karen the property owner/manager was very helpful with local tips and ideas for our stay. We had the John Wayne room. It was a nice small apartment type stay that had everything we needed. It even had some interesting JW and local movies to watch. It is walking distance to the restaurants and some nice trails along the Verde river...

Appreciating this nice review from these pleasant guests. The John Wayne Queen Deluxe Room is well-appointed and some guests call it a flat! The high sleigh bed in the bedroom is a queen, that most think is a king... Complimentary wine tastings at winery tasting rooms a couple doors down from the hotel are offered when you make your reservation...

We stayed two nights at the Cottonwood Hotel. We were only given one key. On the second night, we discovered we had misplaced our key and called the manager to open the door for us. We were told that we would be charged $250.00 to change the locks on the door. We were not given another key so could not...

Thieves, liars, drunks and guests that do damage get blocked from ever staying here again as they get put on the red alert list or what some might call the black-list!

We had never been to Cottonwood, and drove down for a weekend away for a wine tour and some hiking in Sedona. Karen was very helpful and personable. She gave us a personal tour of our room and the balcony, gave us some great history on the town, and great advise on what to do and where to eat in...

Our well-appointed deluxe rooms and suites, do feel more like an apartment. Up-state NY'ers and Europeans say they remind them of flats! We appreciate this guest for taking the time to write us a nice review. Happy to hear that they also enjoyed a nice long soak in the clawfoot tub. The same one that John Wayne soaked in, when...

Had a great weekend wine tasting in Cottonwood. Karen was great getting us checked in and settled. Best surprise was good food and fun all in walking distance downtown. Rooms are clean with themes and have old world charm. Beds are very comfortable.

Appreciating these guests that take the time to write us a nice review, besides enjoying our hypo-allergenic memory foam mattresses that we've updated in every room. Don't forget to check your complimentary wine tasting at a local winery tasting room a few doors down from us, when making your online reservation.

My sister and I had an overnight visit at the Cottonwood Hotel. The owner, Karen, was friendly and helpful and pointed us at a wonderful coffee shop for breakfast. We had a suite...two rooms with the bathroom between us. The shower was great with shampoo, conditioner and plush towels! My bed was remarkably comfortable and everything was clean, clean, clean.

Our Deluxe Queen Unit #8 themed (1925) has two queens, each in their own room with a bathroom in between. The queens have hypo-allergenic posture-pedic memory foam mattresses, that most guests enjoy their comfort! Always appreciate when guests take the time to write us a nice review.

Wonderful hotel! Karen is the owner and is helpful and accommodating! All the rooms are different with cute touches like organic shampoo and condition. The hotel is right downtown so everything is in walking distance including multiple restaurants, shops and best of all wine tasting rooms. This was our fourth stay this year and we will be back in February.

3 of us spent a couple of days in Cottonwood for wine tasting in the area. Karen was very friendly, the room we stayed in (Unit 8) was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The towels are the thickest ever! We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends who want to stay overnight in Cottonwood.

Historically themed 1925, with new furnishings and memory foam posturpedic mattresses, this is our only double queen unit which accommodates a girls night out, friends, family or a couple wanting two beds. Some amenities are a small frig, kuerig coffee maker, wine glasses & cork screw. Don't forget to check your complementary wine tastings at a local winery at time...
