My friend and I stayed in unit 7. It was nice and better then expected. Karen was very nice and we were able to check in early. She took us to our rooms and went over the details and bought us to the balcony to see the views of cottonwood and Sedona. Will be back to stay in the hotel...

I found this hotel to be excellent! The rooms were very clean and the location was excellent! Each room has a different theme and it's great you can actually pick what room you have. Our room was located upstairs and although the rooms are on the small side, this is expected considering the history of this hotel which I found...

Thank you for a wonderful review. FYI for those reading, because most of our units have small rooms combined the average guests thinks of our rooms as being small. According to USAToday, the average hotel room is roughly 325 square feet with interior dimensions of approximately 13'x25' (including a full bathroom). Our rooms in the original hotel upstairs are 338...

I'm giving this hotel 3 stars for the two best things about it -- the location in the center of the town and it was very clean. We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit #6 and when you entered it (directly from the street), you immediately stepped down into one of the bedrooms which you had to walk through to get...

Historic hotels should be a destination and not a place to stay because there is nothing else available. The A/C works perfectly fine, Some guests think its too cold, some think its too warm. Unfortunately most people have to play with the controls and open windows with an a/c running!!! Go figure... This large 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite works...

A visit to downtown Cottonwood is a great weekend getaway destination. Multiple local wineries to drive to, but where to stay? We chose to stay right in the center of downtown. There are several wine tasting outlets within the 3 block walking area, plus many very good restaurants-all walking distance, so no car and no potential problems. The Hotel is...

Thank you for supporting a small business and historic preservation. The historic Cottonwood Hotel is a small boutique inn. It is the only historic lodging contributing to the Cottonwood Commercial Historic District, known to most as Old Town. The exterior of the hotel maintains its historic integrity as when it was first built. All of the rooms and interior are...

We stayed at this hotel only for one night. I have to say that the lady in charge of the hotel is one of the nicest people I have met. She pretty much gave us a quick tour of Cottonwood right from our balcony. She gave us vouchers for free wine tasting, free beer tasting and free rum tasting. So...

Thank you for taking the time to write a nice review for the historic Cottonwood Hotel (small boutique inn). All of our rooms have the memory foam temper-pedic mattresses. They are not only comfortable for a good nights rest, but are hypo-allergenic.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Cottonwood Hotel. We've been to Cottonwood several times over the years and stayed at a number of hotels nearby. This is by far the best place to stay in the area! The location is the best. You can walk to everything in town including the Jailhouse Trail. The hotel was one of...

My wife and I were up there with friends for the Christmas parade. Once again Karen ( owner/operator) was a gracious and accommodating hostess. We sat on the balcony overlooking the street watching the parade with Karen. Eating her chocolate and drinking adult beverages. The hotel is centrally located in Old Town which makes it a fabulous stop. All of...

Ahhh! 1st weekend of December is our annual Christmas parade, Chocolate & Wine Night and Chocolate Walk. It's also the weekend I celebrate my birthday. If you are a guest that weekend you can help celebrate with more chocolate, baileys & cream & coffee, watching the parade from the hotel balcony (the best place in town!) Hope to see you...

The Cottonwood Hotel is, beyond a doubt, the friendliest hotel I've ever visited. I can't remember her name, but the woman at the front desk was insanely accommodating (think tour of room and walking on to deck to point out every business with a description of what's good). She also gave us some free wine tastings, which was great. The...

We recently stayed in the Mae West suite for a wine weekend and the hotel was perfect! Karen is incredibly helpful and nice and the location cannot be beat. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place that is clean, reasonable priced and you want to walk to great tasting rooms and restaurants.
