This is a quaint hotel settled in Duncan, Arizona. The rooms are nicely decorated with pictures and antiques. The owners are very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. We ordered Italian food from across the street and brought it back to a table set for a great dinner. We would recommend this little stop if you are looking for a quiet night in a historic building.
The Simpson Hotel is such a unique place- located in the charming town of Duncan which has done a fine job and keeping the character in tact even in changing times. Every aspect of the hotel was wonderful- the art and furnishings are very special, the rooms spacious and comfortable, lush and expansive gardens, exceptional breakfasts and hosts who are welcoming and generous in sharing their knowledge of the area. I fell in love with the place!
This little B n B is truly fabulous!! The owner is sooooo accommodating and gracious! Fresh iced tea upon arrival, a fantastic bed, breakfast, room..claw foot tub to soak in! A wonderful garden area!! I’ll definitely be back!
Hosts, Deborah and Clayton, put on the perfect show. Arty, eclectic and laid back, the Simpson Hotel is an oasis in the vast desert landscape. Their gourmet breakfasts were superb and they happily catered to my vegan diet. The hotel itself: Antiques, art and atmosphere! Quaint cozy rooms with tastefully selected appointments make your stay comfortable, unique and special. A veritable labyrinth of custom made, artistically handcrafted masonry features with many areas to sit, await your eager explorations out the back door. All three local restaurants were quite good and the people friendly and accomodating. Many mineral treasures were collected on our daily sorties into the expansive and gorgeous desert. Deborah and Clayton are simply delightful people who we now consider friends. We will return soon, as we simply loved our stay! Until next time...…
I don’t often write reviews that are this good. My wife and I are traveling cross country on a tandem bike and to find this place was a dream come true! Deborah and Clayton are wonderful host. The room was very comfortable and the back yard is , well you will have to come here to see it ! Amazing
