We had read so many bad reviews of places near the Grand Canyon North Rim that we were nervous about our stay. We stayed in the newest portion--motel like modern rooms that were simple and nice albeit too dark. The food was good and appropriately...More

I would certainly recommend this accommodation if you are intending to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon although the GC Lodge does offer a better but much more expensive option. Travelling from Jacob Lake to the North Rim can be tedious as it...More

Had been to North Rim before, but not overnight and without stopping at Jacob Lake. Little did we know what we had missed. Everything: interaction with staff, food at the restaurant, and our room was a pure pleasure.

With the exception of staying at the Grand Canyon North Rim lodge this is just about the closest (about 45miles) that you can over night. The place was comfortable, cosy and good value. The shower/bathroom left a bit to be desired in the cabin that...More

Hello, I noticed below that you mentioned the cabins with the most privacy are 28 or 29. We are making our reservations online and don't have the option to select the cabin number. We can select either Cabin - 1 King, 1 Queen, or 1 Double. Which of these would you recommend for added privacy? Thanks!

The king bed has the most privacy.
Are there screens on the windows in the cabins? What cabin number is the most private or has the best view for two adults, without children? We will be visiting in mid-October, and like lots of fresh air while sleeping. Thank you.

There are screens on the cabin windows and I would recommend cabin 28 or 29 for privacy and seclusion.
