The cabins were o.k. although very basic. For example no TV. Bit unpleasent smell, probably from used cleaning agent. Great location in the woods. When you stay at Jacob Lake Inn or Cabins for a visit to Grand Canyon North Rim, then it is not ideal. Quite far away, 30 miles or so. In that case we would advise to...

Our cabin was far from worth what was charged by Jacob Lake Inn. The cabin was at best cramped, the full size beds uncomfortable, the doors (2) to the small cramped bathroom wouldn't latch and had gaps at the top and bottom of each door. Our friends had one room with barely enough room to walk along the side of...

We stayed at Jacob Lake enroute to North Rim Grand Canyon. We planned on 2 nights but left after one. The cabin was quite rustic, and the heat didn't work (40 degree nights). The online reservation system was faulty. We were able to get in at the Grand Canyon Lodge, for a far better experience, at the same price. So...

Jacob Lake Inn was a great place to stay. We were in the new motel, and it was clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, just everything we wanted it to be. We looked into one of the cabins, and it was miles above the little cabin we stayed in at Yellowstone. The restaurant was superb, really delicious food. Everyone was friendly and...

Spent the first 59 years of my life seeing everything in Europe and Asia. Why did I wait this long to see what Utah and Arizona had to offer?! Our stay at Jacob Lake Inn was fun, relaxing and full of great people who gave us great advice about our trip. What a hub of activity! The lunch counter was...

A very nice rustic place to stay. I enjoyed it - the staff were wonderful and the food was good homecooked food!

We enjoyed the North Rim, but next time we'll schedule our 3 day stay at Jacob Lake instead of only one night and then two at the North Rim.

Peacefull atmosphere at Jacob's Lake Inn... We spent two days at the South Rim enjoying the sights. We finished the trip with a journey to the North Rim (well worth it) where we spent the afternoon checking out the views. It was amazing to see the scenary change and all of the wildlife. After we left the canyon, we headed...

Food is great! But it is the only hotel without TV that I have ever visited in US. Should also install internet access in rooms.
