Had a wonderful 4 night stay. Sue and her staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful, we were well looked after. The setting is absolutely beautiful. On the slopes of the lush, tropical Nahoon hills, breakfast overlooked the valley. A peaceful environment to really relax in. Will definitely stay again!

Sue is a wonderful host. She took time to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She offered many suggestions regarding places for us to explore and took time to drive us around to many venues. All her staff are friendly and genuinely concerned about caring for their guests. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and served with a welcome smile...

Loerie Hide is more than a place to have a 'bed and breakfast'. We found this place to be a peaceful and healing environment with loving and thoughtful touches to be discovered at every turn. From the lush nature views from several balconies to art pieces displayed inside and outside, your senses are joyfully nourished. Sue's hospitality includes great food,...

Sue is the most gracious hostess always doing everything to make sure you are looked after. Loerie Hide is a little patch of heaven. I highly recommend this guest house... The rooms are all amazing and all the finer details are available.

Everything from the room (Colonial room) to the kind hospitality we receive at this place really makes it worth staying for several days. The friendly staff are there to assist you in all your necessities and the breakfast was delicious. On hot days, you have a nice swimming pool to cool off in and the jungle view makes it a...

... in a sub-tropical garden loved by birds and butterflies, swallows nesting in the eaves of your balcony, an elegant, spacious, immaculate room, your own secluded patio or balcony, breakfast consisting of anything you want, management and staff who go the extra hundred miles, you'll find it all here. Shops, a restaurant and a pub near by. I had an...

A long business weekend in East London found us staying at Loerie Hide. We booked the budget room which is a thatched circular room or rondavel. It would be challenging to get to this room if you are physically challenged or drink too much as there are over 50 steps of varying shapes and sizes through the garden to access...

My wife & I stayed for two nights in the Colonial Room - Not for people who have hip or knee problems as there are many steps down a few levels. We were welcomed and our booking confirmed by our hostess, Sue. The room and bathroom was very spacious and comfortable with lots of packing space. Opening the curtains and...

Rooms were lovely and spacious. Gorgeous linen and towels and modern large bathrooms and stylish decor with a wonderful view. Breakfast area is rather average and doesn't match the rest of the establishment. Only one table to eat at which means if there were other people we would have to share with them.
