We stayed here as part of a quick stop tour of SA for three nights. On arrival we were checked in the shown to our room, it was in the new part across the road from the main hotel, wow it was basically a suite with its own patio and garden and overlooked the bay , the room was huge...

We were incredibly lucky to be upgraded to the 3 bedroom villa. It has been amazing - the space, the decor and views just stunning. The hotel is right by the beach & centrally located in Plettenberg - so lots of choice of places to eat. We ate one night in the hotel - couldn't fault the food. Breakfasts were...

We had a shaky start to our stay as the room for the couple we were travelling with had not been reserved, even though we had an abundance of paperwork to prove otherwise. After an hour of investigation the manager agreed that a mistake had been made by central reservation and that unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. However MJ...

This hotel is prominently situated on a headland in the centre of Plettenburg. It has two infinity pools both overlooking the Indian Ocean. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed. A free daily stocked mini bar adds to the experience. The main restaurant is used for breakfast and again has great views over the...

The Plettenberg Bay hotel remains a very fine five star. The decor is fresh and light with a fine elegant finish and the situation, with views along the beaches in both directions, are superb. However, since we stayed here in 2005 they have become precious about themselves in a very unattractive way and the restaurant service is a disaster. We...

Best hotel in the area, great location by the beach, stylish rooms, ours was a little small. Very few rooms have balconies. Only a few rooms have great views, some face the road and car park, so be careful which rooms you book if you want the wonderful view of the beach.
