The Whalesong Hotel is just off the N2 on the approach to Plettenberg Bay. The hotel is attractive with large comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. However, it is a little tired and needs a make over if it is to keep up with other similar hotels that we have stayed in. As all of the hotels that we have...

I had a great time to rest and to enjoy myself. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly face and made the welcome warm and my stay a pleasing one. Looked forward to the stay there since booking and I was not disappointed.

Very spacious rooms, some with balcony and great view. Good restaurant and nice outdoor terrace. Short walk to the main street with shops and restaturants, and a bit longer walk to the beautiful beach.

We booked a week in this charming hotel over the internet and were a bit worried by some of the negative comments left here in Trip Advisor. After 2 nights waking up to birds chirping and a view over green hills, the lagoon and a scenic coastline we can say that our expectations have been exceeded and value for money...
