One of the most cheapest place I have ever stayed in. People always miss the fact that this is backpackers accommodation and not fancy. The place is situated very close to the beach... A walk away. Place could do with some renovations and a improvement but for the R150 per night price not much complaints can be said. I had...

Impossible to get some sleep here. Old beds and beddings in the dorm. I've been in party hostels before, but in this one there's no possibility to get some rest during the whole night. Wi-Fi pretty slow (as always)

The hostel was nice, clean and well looked after. It felt very safe and secure. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Can cater from large groups and at quite short notice. Had a few drinks downstairs with a pool table and a tv to wait for all the group. Located just up from the beach and a...

The outside of the house looks very inviting. Once inside, we had a double room as well as 2 dorm beds, I was a bit taken back. The smell in the double room was unbearable. We slept with all the windows and door partly open. The sliding door to toilet was in pieces, the shower glass doors where off track...

Hi. I was over at Lungile Lodge at about midday today to drop off an item for an associate of the establishment that is to be collected by someone at some point. I entered and walked to the reception desk to find the receptionist on the phone. Thinking she would end the personal call she was on in order to...

This place was very solid. Safe, well located, good common area, and decent facilities. Good staff too - Eric/Yozu was particularly fun to hang out with. It's not by any means a must for a traveler in Port Elizabeth, but it provides good service and good value compared to neighboring options. Unfortunately there was a long term guest in my...

I stayed in a dorm as i was on a budget, but if I could go back I would have paid extra for a single room! I was woken up at 2 am with them overbooking our room, and once a bed was found for the new guest she had to make her own bed. No secure place to put...

Stayed there for 2 nights on separate occasion as I was passing by and also a baz bus stop. Rooms are okay, smell stale, musk and very squeezy. Toilets are clean. Staff seems to always have their friends over there to hang out, making a lot of noise at night. Not a social place to meet other backpackers. Staff did...

A friend and I stayed for two nights in Lungile. It was the best option in Port Elizabeth. A lovely place with clean rooms, helpful staff, a swimming pool and the best decoration I had seen in many days. The sorrounding area is a bit lonely but a few blocks away we can find restaurants and the Summerstrand, the beautiful...
